This building is not only overpriced, but it’s also likely to collapse at any moment. Paper thin walls that left me hearing my neighbors sneeze and at various points getting arrested. While hearing your neighbors domestic disputes, you can also smell their weed and the collective garbage that rots in the flooded basement. The landlord has terrible communication (really none whatsoever) for any and all issues, so you’re left to deal with a super who’s paid too little to care. The rooftop access would’ve been nice had they furnished it the way they promoted during my first tour of the place. There’s two pathetic lawn chairs plopped there from other tenants often covered with empty packs of e-cig juice.. You pay luxury prices for nothing but disappointments and a migraine. Do not move here! Rent literally anywhere else in Bayonne. Edit: I would now like to add how ironic it is that the fake reviews came in so quick after the negative reviews were posted when it takes months for the landlord to respond to emails over health and safety concerns with the building. Shows you exactly the type of people...
Read moreThe building is an absolute catastrophe and missed opportunity. There is very little care given into making the building an actual habitable place for tenants worth the expensive prices. Trash is spread throughout the basement, bringing its smell throughout the whole building. The !Butterfly door system and garage are frequently broken, and when they finally are repaired, it’s done half-correctly in the cheapest way they can. Units are poorly built, with paper thin walls and bottom of the line fixtures. The landlord is some guy who lives in Bergen County named Yasar Malas, so the three other reviews with that last name, including one from him posing as a tenant, are obviously very fake. There are many luxury buildings in Bayonne, and this is probably the worst managed one. Do not move here. You will be met with terribly disgruntled tenants and a landlord who adds charges, like a $35 monthly water bill, in the middle of your lease. The “amenities” like the roof and tiny gym, are a joke. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere...
Read moreI have lived at The Stevens for almost two years, and it’s easily one of the best apartments I’ve ever had. I’m no stranger to renting, and this place truly stands out.
The apartment is a spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit. I also have a separate storage space available for a small fee—much more affordable than renting from a storage facility.
It really feels more like a condo than a typical apartment. There are large windows throughout, flooding the space with natural light. Plus, it comes equipped with a washer, dryer, and dishwasher.
Another bonus is that the building is pet-friendly, making it a great choice for those with furry friends. And let’s not forget the beautiful rooftop space—perfect for relaxing, socializing, or simply taking...
