This post is specifically for the response I received from the manager on January 29th 2025 about 12:30 p.m. I believe she said her name was Nina but I could be wrong, as she said her name very quickly.
On the evening of January 28th 2025 , my son and I came in. He chose not to eat at school that day so he was super hungry. He decided to try out pipeline's carnitas, apparently it was their Taco Tuesday special. Both of our meals seemed to be fine. He ate it all except forthe beans and rice, I had the grilled chicken wrap. By the time we got home he went to lay down and then he was yelling about abdominal pain and he was sweating, I helped him to the restroom and he had diarrhea all night. On this day I called the manager to notify them that my son was very ill after we had eaten there and that was the only thing he had eaten all day. I thought I was doing a good service by letting them know about the issue, we hardly eat out anywhere and we've never experienced this before. Instead of being met with empathy and understanding, I was met with a very rude introduction on the phone which set the tone for the rest of the conversation. She told me I am not allowed to say that about their restaurant. I let her know I thought she could use it for a training opportunity, I wasn't saying that they poisoned my son. I was just saying there was possibly cross-contamination or the food was left out too long. Although she didn't give me much opportunity to speak as she was too busy telling me that I need to take my son to a hospital instead of calling her. She did mention that they had been serving that special all day and had served 350 plates of carnitas and no one else called complaining. We were there at the end of the day before closing and the fact that there could have possibly been food left out too long since they were expecting it would be used up fast enough... That could be the case.
Instead of meeting me with empathy and understanding, I was completely attacked. She was sarcastically apologizing, not for the experience but for refusing to hear me and accept my experience, as if it didn't...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. Poor management, poor service and mediocre food. Would avoid this place Have eaten here many times before and have had issues before but decided to give it one more chance.. Tonight (5/17/24) proved to be the same. We went there for dinner, we were seated quickly but then had to wait at least 10 minutes before a server even approached us to order drinks and an appetizer, then another 10 minutes to get our drinks and appetizer. No big deal on the appetizer because it had to be made. Server was a little slow but he was busy in his defense up until it was time to pay the bill. He took my card and then he disappeared for a good 15 minutes. No where to be seen so I decided to ask for a manager and before the manager made it to my table I caught him out of the corner of my eye drying plates by the kitchen door. When the manager finally came to my table and asked me what my problem was in a rude and condescending tone, I tried to explain to her what was going on and that he was drying plates instead of bringing my card back so that we could leave she snapped at me and said the servers have other jobs to do too. Of course I told her their number one job is to serve the customer not dry plates and she caught an attitude and said I’m not going to argue and proceeded to storm off. Of course by this time the server finally brought my card back. This is not the first time I’ve had issues with this restaurant or the management but we will NEVER eat here again. Frankly they should just close down like they did the Laporte location. Food’s mediocre at best and overpriced for what you get. I WOULD...
Read moreI depend on Google reviews to keep it honest about experiences had in different places. This is my honest review. I ordered buffalo shrimp as an appetizer and it was GREAT, best thing ever and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. We ate it so fast I couldn't take a photo. We also ordered the seafood fondue, it had more mushrooms and broccoli than seafood. It was greasy and off putting. It was served with greasy store brought texas toast, sadly we waisted our money on it.. The grease from the bread and the dip was too much for me. It was nasty. I ordered a monster catch and I had it blackened with mash. It was seasoned with seasoning salt and I didn't completely like it, the mash came with a strange cream coating. My mash was Luke warm and was cold in no time. We were here after traveling all day and as you could imagine I was hungry so I ate it but it wasn't what I expected at all. I get better food from a hospital. My daughter enjoyed her veggie burger, my husband did not eat his pasta after his first bite, he ordered the Lafayette. I tried it and it tasted like bland chef boyardee. I spit it out because it was gross to me. My boys ordered kids pizza and it did not arrive until we were almost finished and ready to go, they did enjoy their pizza though. I hate when servers only bring out a portion of the meal especially when it belongs to my children. Adults understand waiting a little bit better than toddlers and younger kids. The service was good the food not close. I'd never return nor would I recommend unless you are getting pizza, buffalo shrimp or a burger....
