Got quoted the wrong price. I paid the price i was quoted by a girl i think name Deionee(she was young and super sweet)!!! The piercings are straight and look so GOOD!!!!!!!!! It was the wrong price. So i was confused when i got to the register. I let her know that i was getting the $30 earrings. (Before the piercing) The girl said ok got ya fine etc. She pierced them with i think the $76 earrings. It was a big misunderstanding, i tried explaining what happened and that itwas a misunderstanding with the wrong earrings! the manager was very rude she demanded money and did not want to here it. All she had to do was speak to her worker and see what happened. she said she couldnt go ask the girl and would not confirm it. I ended up paying the price i was quoted. Which led to police and embrassment. I took my first three kids here the staff was wonderful and patient. They are always kind but today the whole team was mean minus the girl who did the piercing. Every time I come the pricing was accurate. 13 years shopping at claires locations and 4 kids later!!! What was a wonderful location treated me poorly. I understand that the girl wanted me to buy higher quality jewlry and thats understandable its gets them more money towards sells. I took that in consideration and let her know I would like to choose as I did with my other earrings. I was told i had to get the ones recommended for toddlers. Which was weird how can you tell someone what they have to get!!! That defeats the point. I was told that the cleaning solution I didn't want to buy the 4th time was taking off and I would get a different price. I was told legally I had to buy the 4th cleaning solution even tho I had the other bottles. I didnt see the mandate for that in the store. I went to cash out and was humiliated. I was told I could pay the quoted price but that she would still charge the higher price.The girl was to scared to tell them the price she quoted me. They were all pressuring her and looking at her. At the end of the day i paid. I dont mind paying but to humiliate me and get police involved because an error with a worker is completely unprofessional. I told them from the beginning I would be able to pay the quoted price and they were not happy. I was told by someone i would have to have someone bring the money up there.There was a miscommunication improperly handled situation. Im so embrassed thie location pierced all my kids ears stayed in my price range. Ive never had a single issue at any claires!!! They are always warm welcoming friendly and kid friendly. Now im banned from my kids favorite store over a simple price descrepency. Security stated that they could only side with her because they work for the mall. I never really heard of that before. i got my price but the humiliation is still there. And the threats that the lady made to take the earrings back out of an infants ears due to a payment pricing error was disquisting. Who wouldnt be mad and Irate !!!!!Humiliated and quoted the wrong price! I dont know if I should take it to corporate and a lawyer or let it go? Or file a civil case I never had this experience at any Claires locations. This is usually an AWESOME place !!!!!!and now someone saw my pic posted on the site. I paid what i was quoted. I got my triples on my ears done here last week and it was AWFUL! Not only were the piercings uneven they were also not lined up with my other two on both ears and look ridiculous. I clean them three times a day with the claire’s new piercing solution and It’s only been a week and one of them is extremely infected. I don’t know if it’s the earring they used, the gun, the materials or the woman who did it but I went to the doctor and had to take it out and i’m on antibiotics from how bad the infection was. I’m lucky the infections didn’t spread to my other piercings. I will not be returning to this location for piercings or any claire’s locations for that matter and i highly discourage anyone to go to get...

Do not go here to get pierced, please go to a professional. Their piercing gun will cause more damage than necessary and could cause an infection. Also the aftercare solution is not the proper way to clean and heal your piercing.

Piercing guns are considered unhygienic as they cannot be properly sterilized, increasing the risk of infection. the blunt force trauma caused by the piercing gun can damage ear tissue, leading to infection and prolonged healing which is what happened to me.
