It is really a shame when a store manager doesn’t know how to handle a situation.
Went in to exchange/merchandise credit on a couple of polo shirts that have had known issues according to multiple employees. Being told by 2 other stores that would have handled it and then back in September also being told by the manager at this store at the time she would take care of it. At that time she wrote on a business card that we could come back in with the shirts to get it handled. She knew we were not local and that the shirts were a few years old but it’s known company wide that these shirts had issues.
Walking in with the shirts and the card that the manager had given use got us nowhere. The now “manager” P (I won’t post her full name) was absolutely no help. She couldn’t even find the purchase history in the computer and didn’t care about taking care of it for us. She felt “attacked” and walked away to go into the back room but then came back threatening and then calling security saying we are no longer welcome in the store!
We did not ask for the shirts to be covered but in speaking with 3 stores over the last year we were offered by the managers 3 times to get new merchandise or credit since it was a known issue no questions asked. These 3 managers know how to take care of customers but P clearly does not know how to handler herself at all and also doesn’t know what customer service is either. For a brand that is not cheap and try’s to be upscale, she does not represent the brand well at all. There was another customer in the store that the time that commented to our son about how ridiculous she was acting and how she couldn’t believe a manager would act like that.
Looking at reviews it looks like since the previous manager has left, there has been other issues with this store. I hope that upper management does something regarding this or it will end up hurting the performance of this location in the months and...
