Great American Cookies — Local services in Beaumont

Update: I’ve updated the review to meet in the middle after going in person to discuss this. I went in and spoke to Chris. He was very apologetic and explained that the new system just doesn’t allow them to override it. It just upset me that the kids were unable to get their cookies that I promised them when they got the gift cards. A new system needs to be put in place. One that works and doesn’t cause major inconveniences such as this. I will be contacting corporate about that.

Chris was very nice during my visit.

Terrible management!

I gave out gift cards WITH the card receipt to players that I volunteer coach for, but because they are having issues with their gift card processing, they refused to help in any way even with the kids there in the store trying to get cookies.

The man I spoke with, Chris, refused to even help after the manager in lumberton called to verify the cards.

And to top it off, they are both owned by the same owner!

Lumberton tried their best, but Beaumont has terrible service.

Did not listen to the manager in lumberton, did not accept the card receipt, and did not accept the card.

Avoid...

I forgot to order my sister's cake on time and ordered one in a hurry. The wait time said it was 2 hours and i was defeated. I called the store to have them please call if it was ready before then. They were very nice and seemed to have dealt with late orders all the time and were super understanding. Lol They got it done in under an hour and i made it just in time. Thanks so much to the 3 teenagers on duty...

I took my son to GAC yesterday, and I'm highly disappointed in the quality of the cookies. The cookies are very thin, every time he tried to pick up a cookie, it crumbled. I rather bake him some store bought cookies, then waste my money on GAC. The cookies used to be very good, but the quality has...
