I have been coming to Beaverton florist for over 20 years for my wife on Valentine’s Day. When I called to order I was looking for a dozen lavender roses which they were out of. When I asked what colors were available she named off a bunch of colors. I requested 6 red and 6 white roses. She had to ask her “manager” if that was possible. She came back “yes” they can do that. I asked what it would cost? She had to ask the manager again, she came back “$160 will be the cost”. I asked her if that was with a vase, I was told yes. I was not interested in a vase because my wife complains that she has to many vases so don’t buy anymore. She has 20 years worth of vases from Beaverton florist because I have bought roses for her from Beaverton florist for the last 20 years, just celebrated our 20th anniversary. So I requested Beaverton florist not to include the vase just the roses wrapped loosely in foil. She had to ask her manager again, “I’m sorry sir we can’t do that” I ask why, she says “because my manager said so.” So I think to myself, you can put the roses in a vase but you can’t roll them up in a loose package like I usually buy when I walk in the door randomly during the year to buy roses? just because I love her! Well that completely rubbed me the wrong way! Guess the costumer doesn’t come first anymore as far as Beaverton florist is concerned. Unfortunately I will not be spending my money at Beaverton florist anymore and will be informing to all my buddies, friends, family, work partners, acquaintances about the service I received from Beaverton florist this Valentine’s Day. This coming from born and raised Aloha guy just looking to support a local business I thought cared about there local customers. They might think about canning that manager, gona cost them business. I think something similar happened to Beaverton bakery where I bought her birthday cake every year till they went out of...
Read moreBeaverton florist came highly recommended to me by a few friends that had used them for their wedding. When we went in for our consultation the woman that took the notes and pictures of what I wanted was very nice and helpful. A few times she ran back to the lead designer to ask questions, always returning with my questions answered. Fast forward to my wedding day. The delivery guy shows up and was rather rude. He hands me my bouquet and then says "well, here is the rest." 2 larger arrangements. I asked if the designer was coming to set the rest of it up as there was to be a flower archway connected to the 2 larger arrangements. He said, "Nope. This is it. I guess you can call this number but probably won't get an answer as they're closed now..." s he hands me a card with the number. I called, left a message, never ever got a call back. My mother who is friends with someone that used to work there was able to get the owners # and called him. He was rude, condescending and not helpful at all. You would think that as a business that has been around for years, you would try and do SOMETHING to help fix your mess up. But no, nothing was done. Not even an apology. This was heartbreaking. The missing piece was the focal point of my flowers. What would have been absolutely stunning...was not. Along with that missing piece was also the cake flowers. My cake lady ended up having to cut flowers off my larger bouquets to use on my cake. After never receiving a response from the owner, I called 3 days later only to be told he was "to busy to talk on the phone. " Called again the next day and was told he would be given the message and call me back..never happened. I did receive a partial refund but not nearly enough. And again, was never even called and talked to. Very, very...
Read moreWasn't too happy with my floral bouquet for my wedding. I ordered my bouquet (thought I was getting a toss one also but apparently not) and my husbands boutonnière. His boutonnière was way smaller than I had expected, especially the price but at least the flower matched what was in the bouquet.
The bouquet on the other hand was not what I was expecting based off of what I had asked for. My colors were burgundy, ivory, white and sage. I asked for a loose more natural bouquet as my wedding feel was a bohemian style but it was completely tight. I asked for peonies and and I had one all the others were carniations and roses. The color red was spot on so I was happy with that as some people mistake purple with burgundy. They put big green ball things in them which I didn't care for at all, as I asked for greenery plants and I got a purple green colored looking fern. It was a nice bouquet for a Christmas feeling wedding but not what I had asked for.
My grandpa had picked it up the morning of and called a couple days to confirm and they had a pick up time of noon instead of 9:00 am which is what I had asked for but they were at least able to adjust to that time change...
