Barnes & Noble — Local services in Bellevue

The new Barnes & Noble inside Bellevue Square is a welcome addition for book lovers, but it still feels like it’s getting settled in. The store is tucked into a corner of the mall, a little easy to miss unless you know where to look. Inside, the layout is clean and inviting with a nice variety of books and gifts, but there aren’t many seating areas for reading or relaxing. It also felt a bit understaffed during my visit. There were moments where no one was around to help with questions. On the plus side, the store has its own restrooms, which is a convenient bonus considering mall restrooms are usually a hike. I came on a weekend afternoon and it was totally slammed, which left me with the impression that there just isn't a lot of SPACE in this store. Felt packed in and kept bumping into tables and shelves in an effort not to run into other customers. The selection is kind of small but if you've seen it on booktok I'm sure they have it here. Employees were all super friendly and helpful! Just a little too tight in there to move around...

I usually don't like to rate things lowly, and I theoretically like B&N, but this location and the Crossroads location both have such disappointingly small language sections. They had just one shelf here with barely anything and Crossroads had two shelves with barely anything.
