I recently visited Olsen & Son's Fine Jewelry to have the battery replaced in my watch, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional.

Based off of the other reviews, I really hoped this would be the place to have my wedding ring fixed.

I left my ring in their care, confident they could fix it as they were reassuring. (It had been snagging clothes for months and I couldn't wear it). They told me one prong was completely missing and suggested replacing that and tipping other prongs.

When I picked it up, one of the prongs was still incredibly sharp. I walked out of the store, it snagged on my sweater, so I walked back in and informed the younger gentleman that it was sharp and snagged. He suggested that it was just a new prong and it felt big, but if it continued to snag to, of course, bring it back in.

I brought it back in a while later and they said they'd fix it free of charge. After picking it up the second time, I let it be even though it was still sharp. It continued to snag clothes and even poke my skin. I stopped wearing my ring and took it elsewhere to have it fixed.

At the new place they informed me that all the tips were different sizes and there were even small "lips" sticking up on some of the prongs. After double the cost at the new place my ring is finally fixed.

Awhile back, I brought in two watches to replace the batteries. The first one was a stainless steel watch, the spring bar got broken somehow and was replaced with smaller spring bar that kept falling out. I brought it back to get a different spring bar and the manner which they handled the watch was rough and uncaring if any scratches might occur during the switch.

The second watch the leather band was destroyed because they couldnt get access to remove the back to replace the battery. All they had to do was use the spring bar tool to remove both spring bars instead of bending the leather bands so bad that they were torn.

I brought up the fact that the bands were destroyed and could be used any longer and the owner stated that they couldn't access the battery. No apology or even any effort to make right of the situation. So I just walked out and took this as a loss.

The store may be good at selling jewelry as other reviewers have indicated, but their customer service to service their products they sold or any other products you bought elsewhere is just plain horrible. I would not recommend anyone to go to this store to switch out a battery or repair...
