Me and my wife got a Groupon for a massage then, when we arrived, added another 30 min for both of us at full price. They were very accommodating and said it was no problem. Because of the language barrier, we spent about 15 minutes in the reception while they contacted someone to translate the transaction. Not a big deal, we weren't in a hurry. We paid them then, and included the tip.
The massage itself was fantastic, 5/5 stars. They asked for a pressure level preference, and adjusted when asked to. I got off the massage table planning on writing a glowing review. But then when we got out to the reception area to leave, and they stopped us.
They asked for a tip. We told them we included it in our initial payment beforehand. We even pulled up the receipt to show it to them but they didn't understand. So, we waited another 15 minutes as they again called someone to translate for them. They hung up and very insistently told us they needed more. We were getting fairly uncomfortable at this point. Instead of trying to argue, and because of the language barrier, we just pulled out our wallets and handed them some cash. They looked at it and said it was still not enough. 😐 SO we reached in again for more cash. Finally they said "thanks!" and we got out of there.
While I'm sure the massage was good for me physically, the relaxation part of it only lasted till we left the massage room 😂. Sad to say, I was pretty tense by the time I got to the car.
Sooooo, it doesn't stop there. Since then, I've found several reviews where others have had the same experience. The owner has even replied to these reviews saying they'll fix the issue, but obviously that is not happening. The final straw for me was that my wife left feedback for them on her Google account, and they replied with almost the same wording as the others who have complained. Looks to me like they have no intention to change. So there you go, that's my 2 cents 😂

They called my cell 5 min before the appointment time (we were just about to park the car) which was odd to me. Then a lady came out of the shop door while we were still in the car (still before appointment start time). They said it was $140 for a 60-min couples massage via text. They ended up charging $142 before the massage started (very odd add-on after same-day booking confirmation, but not a huge change? Just strange to change price slightly same-day without notifying - why not just state what it’s worth up-front?). It was not a very relaxing massage and was not therapeutically effective. I left desiring shoulder and neck work to be completed (she spent a lot of time scratching my scalp and lightly rubbing mid-back, which was either not comfortable or just ineffective). Some of it was good, but most of the time I was just waiting for something to relieve tension areas. They stopped giving message to greet other customers and to answer the phone during the 60-min massage. There were some uncomfortable/unexpected maneuvers during the massage including slapping and hitting, at least for one of us (it seems they had different techniques because only one of us got this, unprompted). Another difference was the lady massaging my partner didn’t massage his feet (we were both freshly showered and groomed, so it makes me wonder if this was either a gender or race thing?) On Aug 2, 2023, I called your location at 731 123rd Ave NE Ste B, Bellevue, WA 98005, to inquire about making a reservation. Unfortunately, the conversation with the representative was far from satisfactory.
The lady I spoke with was not only unhelpful but also quite rude. She made assumptions that I had called multiple times, even though it was my very first call to your establishment. The interaction was unpleasant to the extent that I felt the need to record the conversation to have evidence of the unprofessional conduct.
