Doña Concha Mexican Food #1 — Restaurant in Beloit

I ordered the burrito with spicy pork (al pastor). It was delicious. Eat it and be happy. Would you like more details? OK then; If you take a bite, chew it, then swallow it, it will produce pleasurable sensations in your mouth. In fact, long after this delicious burrito has done its duty of providing life-prolonging sustenance and subsequently gone on to test the integrity of your local waste water treatment facility, the existence of this food item, ephemeral it may be, takes on a second life in your mind, causing the user to leave a rambling review that nobody will read. Medium score for atmosphere because it’s a food truck parked in a Menards parking lot in Beloit, Wisconsin and I was forced by circumstance to eat the delicious burrito in my Class 8 truck parked nearby at the Pilot because I’m a truck driver. For a higher atmosphere score, transport-then-eat the burrito in nearby downtown Beloit and partake in the lovely restored/preserved industrial architecture while enjoying the soothing sounds of a flowing river. For a lower atmosphere score, transport-then-eat the aforementioned burrito across the state line to nearby Illinois; home of exceptional political corruption, world-class criminal gangs, and a geographical blandness exceeded...

Originally I thought the food was fantastic. I returned later that evening, after writing a fantastic review on a trucking website, because I thoroughly enjoyed and wanted to show my support. The second time, they got my order nearly completely wrong. I call in and a teen tried to argue that they repeated my order, even though I corrected them & they still got it wrong…… After I came back to pick up some of my correct items, I call & thank them for trying to make it right. I genuinely appreciated their effort so close to closing. The other kid working in the truck proceeds to call me a pendeja, and makes an insulting remark while I’m on the phone….as though I wouldn’t hear him. I legitimately thought they had fantastic food ( outside their dry, bland, carne asada). But I don’t appreciate ignorant children talking about customers. Very bad for business. I planned on coming here again, but I can’t support an establishment that allows their ‘employees’ to disrespect customers....

This is hands down not only the best food truck in the city, but quite possible the best Mexican food around. The customer service is great but the food… the food is exceptional. If there’s one thing you have to try here it is the Pork Chop Taco. A full bone in, perfectly seasoned pork chop. Takes a couple minutes but the food is very clearly fresh and if you take a peek inside you’ll see better cleanliness than most places in the city. No credit cards but they accept cash and cashapp which works perfectly for me. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone and everyone. My only recommendation to the business is get some menus we...
