I went to celebrate my birthday there. Little after 3pm on 3/31/25. I had such the worst service. The lady didn't pay attention to my husband and I when we let her know respectfully said we were ready to order. Because she was just continue to talk to her regularly customer which you can clearly see. As she started to make our drink she stopped in the middle of it to get another drink for the man she kept talking to. Which clearly was her friend. She even put in the wrong hamburger order in after bringing mine out. So my husband had to wait longer as I waited to eat. The drink was terrible. And try to enjoy my birthday meal and drink it was just bad. I still try to stay positive. So I order a different drink thinking it would be better. She took her a little bit to get her attention again. Their were only her two friend and 3 other people. I was so upset to have a terrible birthday experience. I still left a tip bcz that's what I do which I shouldn't have and am mad at myself I did. I just didn't know how to give it back and her see I didn't leave somthing. But I will tell everyone I know not to go there at all and just how horrible my birthday experience was. I TRUELY will never go there again. The bar lady had terrible service and just made me feel that our presence their was in her way of focus on her conversation with the man and women she was talking to the whole time. Am pissed that I picked there to have my special birthday and just to experience such terrible service and drink. We spent $65 there. It was Just Bad Bad And I do mean Bad all the way around. Sadly I have to edit my previous review. We have been regulars at Road Dawg for years. They have always had a good fish fry buffet. Unfortunately the last 3 times we have been here it has been just awful. We had always enjoyed it so we gave them a couple more chances. However after last night I don't think we will be returning again. The food looked and taste like it sits there unkept. Definetly not being kept at proper tempurature, or even checking, stirring or replacing. They seriously dump new fresh food right on top of the old getting nasty food, and I am being serious, some of the food really needed to be removed from the buffet. The fish and everything was nearly cold. The veggies turned to mush. There side dishes dried up. Stir that stuff! Get lids for that stuff! The cheese sauce and gravy sat there thick and unstirred tasted old and truly bad, like it been sitting all day or longer. The word putrid comes to my mind to describe this cheese sauce and the gravy. They did make us some fresh fish they put out. What they made fresh was good. But this was seriously a sad and disappointing experience. Im actually concerned I may get sick once I'm home. Wish I could have gotten my money back an gone someplace else. My coffee wasn't even hot! The waitress was friendly enough, but not very attentive. Seemed the staff was all more interested in thier own conversations, as it was not too busy. Soup that was cold and lumpy... Seemed like they opened a can of progresso soup.. very bland.. 1 highlight was the catfish,. Breaded lightly in corn meal and was fluffy without gameness.. The baked cod was over salted and dry .. the fried cod was soggy from possibly sitting to lung before being served... For the price of a fish dinner it was $12 for 1 PC of catfish, 1 dry dinner roll, and a dish of severely sweet coleslaw.. and an additional charge of$4 for the previous said cup of soup...
