I have been a long time client with this store for a while and have rented a washer/dryer, 2 laptops and a tv all of which i now own. Yesterday i rented another lap top that was refurbished which i was about to return for a brand new one because it still had aarons on it and sign in but i finally got my info in so i am satisfied with it however i did not know that i had to be in some type of membership for a protection plan where before it was free by aarons and the way it was explained like. It was free. I always took care of my products and never had to get anything service plus plan had other discounts for health and dental which have nothing to do with product!! So i called today and cancel and explained to Quentin and he told me it was something that came about in january and kind of was trying to out talk me. Supposedly he cancel but i really did not like the attitude and called back to speak to dale but was told that he was not in. Needless to say this will be my last contract. I was really happy with aarons and this location and although i will be moving to another i was still going to stay with this location but after this situation. I will just close out account. Update:was going to give another chance and get another tv and tried to do it online but was told that i had to wait 90 days which i never had to do before. I called dale to see what he can do and he said he would look into it and call me back in 15 minutes but never call me back but a week later i get a call from a sales person that saw where i was trying to do another contract and was getting ready to do it til i told her what online and customer service said and i told her dale was supposed to call me back but never did.vshe said she would have dale call me but once again he didn't!! Now i get charged 9.99 last night for an aarons membership that i called store to cancel and he claimed he did!! Now i am more than livid with aarons and really want nothing to do with aarons and will be telling everyone i know to not do business with this company just save up your money and buy products upfront!! I want the aarons membership canceled and my money refunded back to my account and as of today i have not heard back from store management...

The peices don't match, all the screws arent in place and there are screws and wooden slats are missing. Well the bedframe broke from not being properly put together and I called first thing Saturday morning to get an appointment for service. I was told the person was busy helping another customer and they would call back. I waited 4 hours and never got a call back then I called and spoke to a gentleman who scheduled me for service repair for today MONDAY, MARCH 4th 2018 between 4-6. I told him I needed a new bedrail that was all, he said ok no problem. Ok cool so I thought! This morning I get a missed call, no messeage left from the store. I called back and the guy says he was calling to schedule my service appointment. I told him I was already scheduled. He said I wasn't on the list and I said how when I got a time and date for service. He says ok we will come out 4-7pm today..i say ok and stayed home from work to let them in to fix the bed. 5:58 pm I call the store again and the guy says we are coming..you will be taken care of even after 7 well here it is 8:19pm on 03/04/2018 and they never came!! I don't play when it comes to my money and signing contracts. I only came here because my friend referred me and they were a former Customer who completed their contract and was renting again. I'm going to reread my contract but at this time I need to be compensated for employee setup error, injury to my face and failure to honor Aaron's side of the contract. I haven't been able to sleep on the bed since Saturday but I'm still paying for it. I am beyond livid and I'm feeling like i got hoodwinked. I'm considering on cancelling and returning everything because I am not confident in this store or in the inventory. If I was late on a payment I bet they would be on time to beat my door down for the money. The same enthusiasm should be applied when there is something broken. Now I have to endure another night on the floor and nit on the bed...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCarlos at the Decatur location is a scam artist. After a week of moving to Georgia I went to AARONS to purchase some affordable furniture. I was going to pay for a bedroom set out right. When he saw I had a debit card he asked me to go to a atm and get cash because āif you dispute this with your bank we gonna lose our furniture.ā That comment kind of hurt my feelings because why would I steal furniture but then again that says more about his character as a scam artist then my character. So I was going to go to the atm but ended up walking a few stores down and got a bed from there. (My money was good there) I went back to AARONS after I purchased my bed to get a living room set that was on sale for $699. Carlos asked to for my card to put it on file for my payments and told me my first payment wouldnāt be due until June. I was charged $78 before I left... cool. When we was going over the contract I noticed that the estimated fair market valve was $1,111.99 and not $699 he tried to put me on a 24 month plan instead of the 12 like the price sheet. When I pointed it out he said āIām glad you caught thatā yeah I bet you scam artist. And last but not least he told me my payments would be $78 and they are $107 unfortunately I didnāt catch that on the paper before I left and I signed (I have both contract copies). At this point I expect that. Oh and my couches are too different colors. The delivery guys said it was because they way the swade was āturnedā but no one couch is definitely darker then the other. Probably why it was on sale in the first place. I will never buy from Aarons or recommend anyone to them. I feel so bamboozled and sorry for anyone he has...
