East Bay Seido Karate — Local services in Berkeley

I'm fairly new here, and new to martial arts in general. As an adult entering the world of martial arts, I was a bit nervous about how it would go - wondering if I'd feel out of place, or perhaps I'm starting too late.

East Bay Seido Karate was extremely welcoming from the moment I walked in. It's a beautiful dojo full of wonderful people, and I couldn't be happier that I've joined. Every time I go to a class, I leave feeling positive about what I've learned and excited for the next one.

I've been training here for 3 years after trying a number of dojos and styles. I cannot speak more highly of East Bay Seido. Sensei Todd is a fantastic teacher and in the past three years the dojo has never canceled a scheduled class that I'm aware of. All of the instructors bring a positive attitude and are safety minded.

I've been training at East Bay Seido for a few years and it is fantastic. Sensei Todd is an incredible teacher who is engaging, knowledgeable, and welcoming. He is able to weave traditional karate instruction with practical tips for real world self-defense.
