I don't want to overstate this, because MOST jewelry stores are probably just as bad, but I wouldn't buy here.
Their diamonds are overpriced, even with a large discount from the posted price. And that's assuming they're even as good as they say they are. I've been told to "avoid" the diamond certification labs they use, and, comparing their paperwork to their talk, they seem to be quoting the most generous end of a range for Color and Clarity grading, anyway. And I can't remember, but I think they may have outright lied about color.
My online diamond calculator of choice still had them asking 10% too much if you gave them the benefit of the doubt about absolutely everything, but up to TWICE as much as the diamond was "worth" if they were inflating the truth as much as I think they were.
They use all the typical sales tricks: showing you two garbage diamonds and then a third mediocre one for the same price to make the last one seem like a good deal, trying to get you (or your intended) to hold something in your hand to become attached to it, sounding your personality to figure out what sales tactics you'll probably respond to, etc.
Needless to say, they are very friendly.
I shopped online instead and bought a bigger, whiter, less flawed, and probably better-cut diamond with a certificate from a more reputable diamond lab, all for about...
Read moreHorrible service my daughter has had her chain on her diamond necklace replaced many times. This last time she picked up her necklace and it literally broke again when placing it back on her neck in the store. She is 16 and did not have my card to upgrade the chain at the time the manager offered her an upgrade at a discounted price due to it breaking again and again. She called me and I told her I would upgrade the chain when I had time to go in. Have them repair it for the 6 or 7th time. I go in to upgrade the chain on Friday with her and my husband. The sales lady is younger knows who my daughter is since she has repaired the chair multiple times. Plus we have bought my daughter other pieces there. Last year was a small heart diamond ring. Which has since last multiple diamonds. We always buy the protection plan. Anyway my daughter picks a chain and the sales girls goes o yeah the manager discount is 15% well guess what we have a coupon for 15% I'm saving nothing. And they won't stack the coupon or nothings. I'm almost positive the manager my daughter was being helped by last time was offering her more off since it literally broke the minute they placed it on her neck. Needless to say 300 plus for a tiny chain is insane!!!!!!!! I get inflation...
Read moreI recently ordered my husband a ring online and had picked up at this location in south hills malls. I got an email that my order was ready. When I went in the sales person was very sloppy and was too worried how she looked in her steelers jersey. She claim i didn't have a order at their store and needed to prove to her I had an order and wanted to see my email because I was told by her that they don't send out emails only texts. After showing her my email she was like oh you have a online order. When I came in I said I am picking up a order. She then responded well we have lots of orders here and most ate repairs so....This person looked at me if I was trying to pick up something that wasn't mine. She thought she was cute and spoke to me like I underneath her. I called customer service that day and sent an email to the ceo. Was told the store would call me about this. Was a lie of course never heard from the store or the company. I think since they feel that they have a million of customers losing a customer due to their customer service means nothing to them. It's ok bad word does go around. I will not spend another dime in this store. Just be aware of the service they give at the...
