I am finished with Trader Joe's! It's getting bad to worse! The worst store in our area in terms of handling the pandemic! Every week I go, they find a way to beat their previous record of "awfulness." Last week, after an our of waiting in line to get into the store, I was greeted by empty shelves. Found almost nothing of what I needed. I keep thinking they should have warned people in the queue, shouldn't they? The only reason I keep returning there after promising myself not to, is that my parents prefer their bread. Speaking of which, it is always a challenge to find a loaf with a decent exploration date - not today or tomorrow. Yesterday, after searching for it high and low, I finally found the freshest bread - it won't expire until...02/30/2021! Oy, I didn't think to take a picture!

Then, I decided to puck up a few Vegan items for my hairdresser for this morning. Having never looked for such items before, I did not know where to go, so I asked a store employee. The first one actually put up her hand and snapped "I am off the clock!" The second just offered to give me a list. And only a passing manager took time to walk with me and...

So many eclectic Food Shops and eclectic places to shop. I must say we searched for a really good pizza and the north Wilmington and the Claymont Delaware area. We were amazed and shocked at how delicious the pizza was at Anthony's. I would call ahead because they are extremely popular. There pie crust is beyond description with flavor thinness and crispy. You can get any topping you can think of. While waiting in line for our first pizza people were raving about how wonderful this pizza was and giving us suggestions. If you have to drive a half hour out of your way to go to Anthony's it is well worth it. I drive from Vineland New Jersey all the way to Claymont Delaware just to join my friend at Anthony's. There are so many other shops including Trader Joe's is it you will fill your shopping bags. This small Center of strip stores is a Hidden Gem of the northern Delaware and Claymont Delaware area. Market place Shopping Mall in Concord Pike Wilmington area has many shops and establishments , almost 15 r so from Pizza shop, Mattress Firm, Home Furnishings etc etc. We regularily visit Trader joes, TJ Maxx, Panera Bread for day to day needs. Sufficient parking exists for customers to park. Much rush will be there in Trader Joes which stores many many house hold goods like Vegetables, fruits Non Veg , Confectionary, Milk and milk products.
