Bijan, the ultra-luxury menswear store that sells $30k crocodile-trimmed sweatshirts and $18k cashmere pea coats, is leaving its longtime location on 420 N Rodeo Drive, but it won't be moving far.
Construction is currently underway on a brand new (and much larger) Bijan flagship, situated just across the street and a few feet north from its current location of more than 40 years. The appointment-only boutique is widely referred to as the world's most expensive menswear store, and clients have included billionaires and luminaries like Prince Charles, Bill Gates, and many former U.S. presidents. The new Bijan store's exterior will look a lot like its current unit, with a bright yellow facade and charming window details featured prominently from the outside that will look familiar to shoppers. we walked in and 2 girls were "sleeping" in front desk. The one that sits on the left side is always leaning against the wall because she is so bored! One of them greeted us and asked how can i help you right at the door (which was the girl sitting on the right side as you enter) we said we wanted to see the store. We have heard so much about Bijan and came so far to come by and see this place. Read moreI worked in this store in 2023. The work environment was horrible — there were two tailors who slandered me, yelled at me, screamed at me, and bullied me every single day. They thought that they are the bosses of the store, but they were only doing simple alterations, not real tailoring.
