McQueen — Local services in Beverly Hills

I had an online shopping experience on my own at this store :) Ridiculous. I don't know if this is just how the customer service McQueen offers now or just whatever the process is.

I was doing Christmas shopping last year and I went to the Rodeo store. I picked a black scarf and wanted to buy it from this store. There was only one left and the sales lady tried to get me buy that one and told me it was got put out like yesterday. I refused because I saw it was covered with different people's hair and I guess she wasn't so happy about that. Then she tried to get me order it online. She gave me a QR code and just stood there watching me do it. I was having trouble because it had my old address under my name and the system wouldn't allow me to change it. She had to go back and forth and asked another guy in the store to change it for me because she didn't know how to do it. However, after the guy finally helped me change it, they threw the iPad back to me and just stood there watching me. I was in store for 5min and spent $1,000+, and they couldn't just take my card and help me with it? No. All the sales just stood there and watched me trying to shop online on my own. I was busy with Christmas shopping that day and I was in a good mood so I just bought the scarf online and walked out. But when I thought about the experience later, this was the most ridiculous thing I ever had at McQueen. I'm not going back again and I would for sure share this experience with my friends. Am I supposed to go to the store and have an online shopping experience on my own? I had zero service. I bought it online on my own. And they were not happy because I didn't buy the scarf in store? Or...

I LOVE this store. Not only because I’m an Alexander McQueen stan, but the staff here are so friendly and knowledgeable, talking with them about whatever’s currently in store almost feels like I’m just gushing with another McQueen fan. I’ve found this store to have the most welcoming and friendly employees of any store on Rodeo Drive. I try not to linger too long to avoid wasting anyone’s time or energy as I’m nowhere near the tax bracket to afford designer clothes (🥲), but I do appreciate the time I do get to spend in here just yapping with someone in the know about my favourite designer. Anyway, hopefully one day the stars align for me to be able to actually shop here, until then thank you to the staff for being so warm...

I found the staff here extremely accommodating and polite. They gave me some insight on the designs and products and I never felt pressured to purchase. I did leave with a handbag which I love! I have always wanted to own something from Alexander McQueen, ever since I watched one of his fashion shows about 15 years ago (I was in high school, discovering fashion as art for the first time).
