Terrible Customer Service, Unwelcoming Staff
I visited this coffee place with a group of seven people. We spent over $80 on coffees and pastries, looking forward to enjoying our morning together. The outdoor seating was nice, so we decided to sit outside. However, the experience was ruined by the rude and unprofessional behavior of the staff.
From the moment we walked in, the workers didn’t greet us or even smile. When I went inside to ask for some hot water to add to my coffee, the employee who served me was incredibly rude and made me feel uncomfortable with his attitude. He handed me the hot water like I was inconveniencing him, which is unacceptable in a place that’s supposed to be welcoming.
While we were sitting outside, the staff kept looking at us and talking among themselves, making us feel judged and unwelcome. I decided to speak to the manager about this, and when I went in to ask for a to-go box for our leftover pastries, she greeted me with a blank, unfriendly expression. She didn’t even try to smile or acknowledge my concerns. Instead, she handed me the box like I was asking for too much. Another male worker next to her gave me a dirty look the entire time, which only added to the uncomfortable atmosphere.
This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had at a coffee shop. My entire group felt the negative energy and agreed that we would never come back here again. Coffee shops are supposed to be a place to relax and enjoy your time, but the staff here acted like we were a burden. If you’re looking for a friendly and welcoming place, this is definitely not it. We will be taking our business elsewhere...
Read moreIt’s a charming, cozy café in the middle of Beverly Hills with a well-curated interior. The atmosphere is pleasant, though somewhat impacted by several people sitting alone with laptops for extended periods, occupying tables and taking away from the café’s otherwise lively and welcoming vibe.
The matcha lattes were well-prepared, with milk alternatives available. I especially appreciated the thoughtful detail of dried blossoms sprinkled on top. At $8 per matcha, pricing is certainly at the higher end, but somewhat appropriate for the neighborhood. The warm banana bread, featuring a creative twist with melted chocolate, was particularly enjoyable.
Service was friendly and professional. A small oversight with the sweetness of the matcha was promptly and courteously corrected after mentioning. One practical drawback is the absence of restrooms.
It is a recommendable cafe for a short break, and I would...
Read moreI feel bad giving this place 3 stars as they had a good collection of very tasty and authentic Italian pastries. However the service was pretty disappointing. They just had 2 people, and everything was taking longer which is understandable. After waiting 15 mins to order, I was waiting for 2 coffees I had ordered. 10 mins went by and no coffee. The cashier then told me I was standing at the wrong place to order; I was surprised. I told her I was waiting for my order and she was very confused and rudely asked what coffee was I waiting on. I showed her the receipt but she said she had to check in their system to verify. From this point on, it took 10 mins to...
