I love how well stocked, clean, and wonderfully organized this store is. I was greeted by the sweetest person named Klove. While they were very busy with multiple customers, I was asked if I needed help. I appreciated that because I needed a bread maker, and I was brought out the one I wanted. This store offers a lot of products. Everything from utensils and professional knives, mixers and bread makers, pots and pans, seasonings and oils, cutting boards, and cups, and so much more! What really sold me on the store was the owner, Marguerite, came out and talked with me for a bit about the store and what they offer and all kinds of other great stuff. I really enjoyed the conversation. The moment a customer walked in, Marguerite was very attentive to the customer and answering all the questions. To see an owner of a shop involved in their products and customers needs made the place feel even better. And to top it- Klove took my stuff that I purchased to my car because it was so heavy. While the store has many nice things, I was completely ignored while I was there. There was a young man helping an “older” customer when I came in. He was super friendly and accommodating to her. I made the assumption when he was done he would acknowledge me and ask if I needed any help finding something. No such thing. He finished with her and he literally circled around me several times without a word. There was not another customer in the store! How can you own a mom/pop small store and not even say hello to a customer? Was I too “young” to meet your standards for help. I did not feel welcome. Today was my first time in Zest and I will definitely be back! I've been spending more time in the kitchen than ever before and the right tools make all the difference. Zest has all the cool gadgets, accessories, and necessities to make time in the kitchen a fun and enjoyable experience. The staff was especially helpful.
