I’m sooo disappointed in writing this review, but the experience I had tonight was just so negligent on behalf of the staff. I drove 45 mins to this location to purchase a pair of glasses I wanted to order to have in time for my wedding. I walked in and was greeted by a nice lady who asked if I needed help with anything, to which I showed her a picture of the glasses I was looking for. She asked another co worker and they found the glasses for me almost right away. There was another couple in the store who were being helped by a different employee the entire time so this was no fault to her at all. I walked around, trying on a few different pair of glasses and ended up finding another pair that I liked way more than the original ones I had come in for. Mind you, I came in fully prepared to purchase a pair of glasses- legitimately the only reason I drove here. At some point the lady who helped me originally completely disappeared. Maybe it was the end of her shift, I have no idea, but the other gentleman in the store didn’t bother assisting me at all. He actually started talking to the same couple that the other lady was already helping, conversating about random things with the husband while the wife was getting her glasses (lucky her) I ended up walking out and ordering the glasses online. Super disappointing especially because I’ve been to the Warby Parker locations in both Troy & Novi and have had nothing but positive experiences with the staff, even when they had a store packed full of customers. I recently visited Warby Parker in downtown Birmingham and had an outstanding experience thanks to Caitlyn. She was incredibly detailed, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process. Caitlyn took the time to help me select frames that truly suited my face, answered all my questions about my prescription, and even double-checked it for me. I really appreciated that she wasn’t pushy about selling extra products and focused entirely on my satisfaction.
