I don’t know what the problem is with this store, but it seems that 90% of the employees are miserable, unhappy people. Is the employment situation so bad that they will hire anyone with a pulse? Are these people not given a set of standards on how to deal with customers? At the very minimum, make eye contact, say hello, good morning, good afternoon or something to that matter. Try to fake a smile. Some of the cashiers will continue to have a conversation between each other while completely ignoring you as they ring up your groceries. Very disrespectful. It is a very depressing atmosphere every time I walk into this store. The situation is the same next door at the hardware store. Same ownership. It’s getting to the point that I would rather drive 20 miles to HEB than to set foot in this depressing place. And don’t get me started about the low quality of many of the Groceries inside. Numerous times I have found expired sell by dates on the shelves. I think they get their produce from the trash cans behind the H-E-B store. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the rodent problem.
