I stopped by yesterday because my neighbor always brings us pastries from Horus which I loved. I’m so glad I did!

The owner warmly greeted me upon entering and even gave me a free sample of an Egyptian cheese (I believe it’s called rumi). It’s delicious, similar to Parmesan with pieces of peppercorn throughout. I brought some home along with hummus and pita. The hummus is smooth, creamy, and garlicky which is how I like it. They have all kinds of things I want to try here so I will definitely be back. This is a wonderful addition to our neighborhood....

Went there yesterday for milk and I received a deal on the pita bread which was very good I recommend it. The store is perfect for purchasing specialty items for cooking. Also there is section of fresh produce you can buy by the pound which is a serious plus in this area. It makes me happy because I always need some fresh vegetables and don't want to go to the Supermarket or drive to the Farmer's Market. The frozen vegetables are top shelf choices. I recently tried this local gem and I was beyond satisfied. I looove their chickpea salad with feta so much. I went back the next week and got it again. Yummy homemade hummus and tzatziki sauce with pita bread was delicious. I froze 1/2 of the bag of pita (like the kind owners told me to) and it prolonged the freshness. They also have these packets of real fruit juice my daughter loved. Can't wait to try their falafel and gyro sandwiches next. Thank you Horus for the great food and warm welcome.
