The store itself is not so bad, a weird mix of a grocery store and a closeouts irregulars store like big Lots only less clean.
That being said I have to agree with some of the other reviews here. Management is is something else to deal with and not very professional or customer service orientated and it is reflected in the way the staff deals with you. TRUST ME on this. I had a return with receipt according to their own printed policy and as I stood there, the agent said (and I VERBATIM quote her) "It's been opened, I can't return this." I responded yes but your policy says...and she then turned to her co-worker with an attitude, who is a cashier mind you and asks her "can return this?! He brought this back opened!" EXCUSE ME?? You a manager/supervisor and your asking a cashier if you can do this return?? And your pissy about HAVING to do it?? I am so sorry I did not get her name. Another time they were having their end of the day rush, calling all cashiers up front to ring. The manager on the other hand, stood around grumbling about leaving late now because of the rush and started sweeping the floor and seeming unapproachable. WOW! Not even an attempt to help ring out the now irritated customers waiting to leave, standing in lengthy lines.
Yeah, Marc's sucks at customer service, at least from a management perspective. They're prices may be good but the you have to ask, if you have an issue or return, what type of problems are you going to have to endue...
Read moreGood Lord, there's a reason I don't shop here. Between everybody hating their jobs and the lack of respect for customers. Libby included. The storemarked Grape white claws are $0, and technically, they have to uphold it. But I wasn't going to throw a fit if they didn't. The first gentlemen was laughing but agreed. Then, the short tubby nasty manager came over. And I was just trying to explain it to her she's getting really snarky with me, pulls them out of my cart, and won't let me get a word in. I literally brought the ticket up and pointed it out to him so that I could help them out, and though they should have been free, as I said, I didn't throw a fit. But then I went to the back and talked to one of the bosses' boss and they were just as bad. Don't do the store a favor, and I'm not sure what honesty gets you anymore. I did feel Dimension that there was this probably 85 year old woman who wanted help to her car because she had three huge cases of water but nobody seemed in a rush to help her. So I helped her and found out that she is battling colon cancer. A little help goes a long way because you never know what people are going through. Life's too short to be that nasty. ( the workers...
Read moreCOUPONERS BEWARE!! Went in to the store tonight, like I do often. I know the coupon policy like the back of my hand... can use coupons on close outs, no limit, if the coupon is over the price they reduce the coupon.... I also know it says that they do have the right to limit but when you’ve been the I over a dozen times and there hasn’t been one... you assume they don’t. (Not that I went crazy either). Went to checkout, an ignorant little boy that probably could of been my son said the limit was 5. I asked him to show me. He removed me to another register like a second rate citizen. Called 2 other people up there like he was incapable of doing his own job. One was supposively a manager named Lisa who flipped out bc I said “sh*t” who said the limit was 6. I asked how can there be a limit if I’ve never been limited and everyone thinks it’s something else. Told them I planned on calling corporate and asked for names. The little boy told me “no I don’t give out my name”. The “manager” did. Needless to say if you feel like being talked to ignorantly by little kids that try and run this establishment and no one is on the same page then THIS IS...
