Johnny O's Gymnasium — Local services in Boca Raton

Finally a gym worth paying for in the Boca area. I signed up for this gym last weekend and after a week I can confidently say this is a great gym and much better than the two others I was a member of (a year each) previously. The gym has something to offer for everyone no matter what your goals are and Johnny makes a point to emphasize health and find out what your goals are as a person when you sign up. In just one week I have seen Johnny at his gym multiple times checking in and working with his clientele which is refreshing to see and shows he knows exactly how well his gym is doing and what could be improved on.

Equipment wise this gym has an excellent variety. If the indoor portion wasn't enough, the outdoor portion offers what I would consider specialty equipment compared to the inside including sleds, tires, extra power racks, a punching bag, and pretty much any training equipment you have ever run into. Atmosphere is also nice with loud speakers filling the warehouse and the colored lighting keeping it well lit but not harsh and although this gym is not your typical LA or Gold's, it also does not lack in the cleanliness department. Wipes are provided all over the gym in addition to staff cleaning (which I have seen happening both in morning sessions and night sessions). Ventilation with AC, multiple fans, and open warehouse doors is also kept a high priority so the gym does not smell like a shoe locker either.

Johnny Os is my second home. When I moved to south Florida I had nothing i had no friends, no family, no gym. I moved here after a bad divorce trying to start my life over and things were very hard for me. I was struggling with my business and getting it going it seemed that things were hopeless. They treat every member like family and welcome everyone into the gym with a no judgement and allow everyone to work and train from all different fitness levels. I’ve been apart of many gyms and owned my own as well and the key to a successful gym is culture. Well the culture at Johnny o’s is unmatched and it’s such a wonderful environment that keeps people coming back and retains their members because of the quality and high level personal care they provide. The gym itself is a Mecca and is the most explosive and dynamic place I’ve ever trained at. Johnny himself goes out of his way to encourage everyone and motivates all his members as if they are VIP’s and It’s absolutely genuine and from the heart. This gym is my family and the best thing that has happened to me since I moved to Florida. This is the place you come to when you are trying to lose yourself and find yourself all in the same. This gym is the highest intensity gym in south Florida. From the second you walk in the door you are going to feel empowered to work harder and at a higher level than you ever have before. From beginners to advanced athletes this gym has it all. The staff is the most knowledgeable and helpful group of people that all have the true desire to see you reach every and any fitness goal. The inside is super clean and always maintained, the weights are always put away and you’ll never have to go on a scavenger hunt for a piece of equipment. The outside has brand new turf well over 50 yards. Majority is covered allowing you to push your workouts further regardless what the weather conditions are.
