My wife vapes & this was the first store she went to when crossing over from cigarettes to vaping. Mike the owner was amazing. He was really cool, patent & accommodating. Always with a smile. As time would have it, she fell back to cigarettes. Now she wants to go back to vaping. Returning back to the store, Mike’s not there however, 2 employees who could really not help. One that stands out is a young lady who steadily stayed vaping the entire time like a chain smoker. Everything my wife asked for was answered with the same answer, “No we don’t have that, we lost the vendors phone number & can’t order anymore.” That was the popular response from the young lady for everything, in between her chain vaping which kept the shop filled with smoke/vape/steam/whatever. Very unprofessional, disorganized & amateur. I even had to ask if Mike still was the owner. My wife was also going to pick up supplies for her friend who vapes. Of course they had nothing the friend needed either because they lost the vendors phone number & can’t reorder. We left with nothing & I have never been more disappointed in my life with how a business can fall so low so quick. I hope Mike can get his store back to the bar of standards he had it in because I really like him. Also with my wife getting ready to open a high end barbershop in Boerne that would be an excellent source of referrals. So I hoping Mike can hear me. We ended up going to another store for what my wife & her friend needed.The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because Mike is still the owner & I know he doesn’t really know the sloppy unprofessional service his employees are giving to the public. Also, my wife couldn’t decide on a flavor because the few she asked for were not there. I noticed they didn’t have a sample taste test table they once had & when asked, was told that’s no longer is an option. Fair enough with the ever changing regulations. However when my wife pointed out items on a shelf behind the counter, she was told those are for the sample tasting. I was floored & told my wife let’s go. If she’s not allowed to partake in tasting another flavor because the one she normally gets isn’t there, how does she know she’s going to like what she picks if never tasted it before & she obviously doesn’t meet some qualifications to be invited to try another flavor. I hate to write a bad review, but every time I have bought a vape from this store it doesn’t last, something always breaks. Don’t get me wrong the staff is great, nice atmosphere, whoever is working is always very helpful. But the product is bad, in the pass month I bought a leaf buddy it broke in 5 days stopped charging, I didn’t drop it or anything when I took the vape back to them, they sent it back to their venders it took 2 weeks for them to get a new shipment in, so whatever I spent almost 30$ on the flip leaf buddi, but when they got a new shipment in a got a downgraded version of the last one I had, it was a cheaper unit so I got less than what I paid for but no store credit no refunds nothing. The downgraded version just broke a few days ago now it turns on but won’t heat up, my advice don’t go to his store overpriced bad quality, you are better off going to a smoke shop in San Antonio. I bought a cheap stick ozoo 12$ after the first leaf buddi broke and it has lasted me for a month and nothing has gone wrong with it and the shop I went to in San Antonio will do refunds if the vape breaks in 2 weeks. It feels like home when I walk in to Mike's. The only bad thing in general is I'm only able to rate 5 stars. Many more 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 are needed to accurately represent Mike's store! The employees are the same each visit so that tells me Mike is doing something right. The guys & gal are always helpful & they put up with me! Thanks! It feels like I have known them forever. Great bunch!!! I'm treated like a 🥇VIP🏅each and every trip. The vape juice I use is almost always in stock. When it's not they bend over backwards to make sure I'm happy! I've met Mike & he is one of the good guys. I will continue to go there. I live far out in the sticks on a ranch so it's nice Mike has what I need when I go to there. I had trouble finding the right vape juice for years. I walk into Mike's & told them what my favorite juice was like & soon after walked out with my new favorite, Crunchy Sweat Squares. I used Rocket Fuel for the first four years & I never thought I could find a better flavor. Sorry Rocket Fuel, I do not need you anymore, Mike's Vape Shop is in the house!
