One star. I hate that this Panera Bread is so convenient for me, because it’s consistently disappointing. If they’re not out of everything, then the dining area is a mess. I’ve had consistently bad experiences and tried to chalk it up to being understaffed, an off day, etc. but today was the last straw. They made my sandwich wrong and when I asked for it to be remade, they gave me hard time, telling me next time I needed to talk to the cashier. They proceeded to show my the receipt to show that it had been rung up “normally” (I wanted no red onion)—I responded that I told the cashier but she must have missed it. The cashier proceeded to smirk and shake her head, telling me I didn’t tell her about the change. I told her, she just misheard. I wasn’t mad about the mistake, I was just irritated with their response and the four separate people who argued with me about it. I work in a restaurant and I’ve even worked at a Panera Bread back in the day, and this is not how you treat a customer. I love Panera’s food and I’ve often thought that maybe I’ve been spending too much money there, but after tonight, that has ended. On top of everything, the chicken was cold in the remade sandwich. After too many bad experiences here I won’t be returning to...
Read moreThis has to be the worst place to get a breakfast...EVER!!! There was was a complete language barrier! I had to repeat my order 4 times. Each time after saying it, the counter person said "ok, got it" then asked for my order AGAIN! finally she called someone to help and it wasnt until they spoke (in spanish) that she was able to process my order. While waiting for my order i noticed several orders prepared before my order and i had clearly ordered well before them. The completed orders sat waiting but the preparer did not call out the order names. I finally asked them to identify the orders but the preparer did not speak english. It wasnt until the bulingual person was called over who then started calling the names for the food. My order still was not up, so after several minutes, I inquired about it but the person i spoke with did not speak english. I had to seek out the guy who spoke bilingual to help me. Every one should have the opportunity to work and make money, but in a service industry, that opportunity should not take away from the experience of the person paying for it. I hope the Panera Bread organization thinks equally about its customer as the people they employ. My experience was unacceptable...
Read moreMy dearest friends and I went out to eat at Panera Bread before our movie (which was lovely btw). We ordered on the website with my friend’s account, ordering three meals, two of them having bread bowls. The autumn squash soup came with a bread bowl, and the Mac and Chz also came with the bread bowl. When we received the meals, only one of them had a bread bowl. My darling friend, who’s like a sister to me, went up to one of the ladies who made the soup and told her we didn’t receive a second bread bowl. Instead, she was met with rudeness and refusal to give us a bread bowl, wanting to charge us $3.00 for something we already paid for. We decided to brush it off and began to eat, but then that same friend’s chicken sandwich was made with Buffalo sauce when she ordered the regular chicken… this was an allergic issue. She went up to the workers and they then started talking about her and laughing. They once again messed up the sandwich two more times, and we felt like they were trying to place the blame on my friend. This was atrocious customer service. I wouldn’t let dogs eat this food unless I was trying euthanize. We were put in an uncomfortable position and will...
