Over the last few years, I have had a constant foot injury and I wanted to learn how to train myself around the injury without creating pain or making it worse. I always seemed to irritate the area time after time which was so discouraging because I love being active. This year, I met Peretz who is a personal trainer at Form in Boston. He is teaching me how to strengthen the areas around my injury and how to work around the problems in my body. I have made improvements and workout without pain or swelling in my foot! After years of letting things go, I found Peretz to be the answer to my fear of gyms and aversion to exercise. His open-minded attitude made it easy to talk through my goals so that he could develop an exercise regimen that suits me. He is nonjudgmental and makes all of the complicated information regarding body mechanics, functional movements, and body awareness/ coordination more accessible. He took the time to provide education regarding the way my body works and how to make the most of movements; this is what sets him apart from other trainers I’ve worked with in the past.
