Third Time Ice Cream — Restaurant in Boston

I've tried ice cream shops all over the area and had truly given up on finding something homemade with an actual ice cream base (rather than frozen whipped cream and condensed milk). We saw this at Bow Market and the flavors sounded phenomenal so I decided to break my ice cream hiatus.

I can't put into words how good this ice cream is. Honestly probably the best ice cream I've had in my life. The flavors are so beautifully thought out. The balance of sweet, salty, brightness, and creaminess is just perfect. The ice cream is rich and you can taste the premium ingredients and techniques that went into it. The owner is a really nice and generous guy who encourages you to sample everything. I don't have a single bad thing to say. I just wish my wallet and waistline would allow for me to eat this for dessert every night.

My kid wanted ice cream so we stopped in. But you know how kids are...if it's not the thing they're used to, they won't eat it. So he refused to try any of the shop's incredible flavors. Whatever. It happens. We left. But that's where the story gets good...While we were walking back to the car, the incredible gentleman that was behind the counter ran out of the shop and surprised my kid with one of those simple little vanilla/chocolate combo cups (the kind with the peel off lid and the little spoon that they used to serve in school). And he didn't even want any cash for it. It was legit the kindest gesture I've experienced in a while. My kid was so happy and it made the car ride home that much better. So def go and support this place. Good and decent people should...

100% unique, different flavors are not just colored differently like some places but each has a strong, unique flavor. Generous with the samples, a good thing because a strong flavor won't appeal to everyone and it isn't obvious what a flavor like "(Don't Get) Bogged Down" (my favorite) is. Combining the flavors makes them even more intriguing, I will be back.

It is just a storefront and has no indoor seating, so be prepared to eat outside or bring it back to your car or something. They are a new shop, it wouldn't surprise me to see them expanding over the next few years as more people...
