Hidden gem offering a unique selection of teas and exceptional food.
Stumbled upon this cozy spot while visiting the plaza for one of the nearby bars. The shop itself was relatively small, with just a few bar seats and one small table, but it had access to a common area right across the way, which usually had plenty of seating available.
Rite Tea has a unique array of Japanese teas, including variations of chai, houjicha, green tea, and more. While most of the teas leaned toward milder scents and flavors, the sheer variety made for an interesting experience. The food, however, was the real highlight. While I miss my favorite drinks when they are gone, I welcome the new ones with open arms. Rite is a really...
Read moreRite has such high-quality and creative food and beverages! Just today I had a kombu lemonade there which was fantastic. I've also had their toasts and yogurts - you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. They have an incredible lineup of single-origin teas and herbals which rotates seasonally and which is WAY above and beyond what you can find at any other cafe in Boston. Ren and Haley take care of every customer who steps through their doors. Truly a hidden gem and a community place for those who have the good fortune of...
