I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a ghost tour in Boston, Massachusetts, and it was an unforgettable experience, thanks to our incredible tour guide, Mary.
From the moment we began, it was evident that Mary possessed an extraordinary passion for the history and hauntings of Boston. Her storytelling skills were exceptional, weaving historical facts with spine-tingling tales that brought the past to life in a way that was both educational and thrilling.
Mary's deep knowledge of Boston's haunted sites was matched only by her enthusiasm. She expertly led us through dark alleys and historic streets, painting vivid pictures of the events that transpired there, making us feel as though we were stepping back in time. Her ability to maintain an eerie yet engaging atmosphere throughout the tour was truly impressive.
Moreover, Mary was incredibly personable and attentive, making sure everyone in the group felt involved and engaged. She welcomed questions with a wealth of knowledge and a warm demeanor, enhancing the experience for all of us. Her sense of humor and infectious enthusiasm made the tour not just informative, but genuinely enjoyable.
The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly Mary's captivating tales of Boston's most notorious spirits. Each story was delivered with such detail and passion that we were hanging on her every word, eagerly anticipating the next chilling account.
In short, this ghost tour was an absolute delight, largely due to our outstanding guide, Mary. If you're looking for a unique and memorable way to explore Boston's haunted history, I cannot recommend this tour—and Mary—highly enough. It was a truly exceptional experience that I will treasure for...
Read moreThe tour guide was nice and personable though I felt like there was less information provided than most other similar tours I’ve been on. I think this is more on the company than the guide, as there just weren’t a lot of stories told about each place nor much historical context, and one of the sites didn’t even have any relevant stories related to it, so it felt like an odd choice of a stop. The majority of the tour was spent sitting and waiting for people to finish drinks while the attendees and guide chatted amongst themselves after the one or two short stories were told, which is fine as everyone was nice, but when on tours one would expect the full time to be filled by the guide speaking and providing information. She was good when she did so! But the content of the tour needs some...
Read moreFor a pub crawl you should be able to actually go inside the actual pubs to hear the stories. Going into only 2 of the 5 pubs is sub par and saying "oh it's a Friday night they're busy" is not an excuse. You should call these places ahead of time and have designated areas for these tours. As far as the tour guide, not good, I forget her name but she told us she had been with them a month. Not enthusiastic about telling the stories and she had more to drink than most of the people in the tour group. Was such a letdown, had to revisit the pubs the next day and google the...
