I rarely leave a negative review but I had to on this one. My 1st time there, there was a extremely helfpul and sweet woman who helped me throughout the whole trying out process and even though the shoes weren't the exact model I was looking for, but I made the purchase because she was so sweet and helpful. That was 6 months ago. My recent experiences, not so much. I had to make a return and each time the staff were giving me attitudes. They talk to me in an ill manner and mumbling in their mouth while I was answering them very politely (makes you wonder who's the store associates here). All I ask was I want to make a return, show them the barcode and such but they were like oh it should be a different QR. I'm unfamiliar with the process since it's the only barcode I got and this is the first time I heard there's a QR code so I asked if they could show me. Fine. And then they kept saying they couldn't find the items on my order, and throwing shades at me, rolling eyes and such. Like what did I ever do to you? I still politely said "they're under the same order but shipped through multiple shipment, so maybe that's why? I honestly don't know what you're seeing on your screen but this is the barcode and instructions I got. Could you try again?". And they proceeded scanning not saying any words to me and finally kinda waiving the receipt my way. I respect retail associates, you work hard and deal with sh1t every day but if I or any customer treat you with respect, like all humans should, then there're no reasons for you to throwing attitudes and treat us like that. I only do returns in store to reduce the amount of waste going into a return (lable, repackage, shipping, etc.). But I guess I'll take this and my business to another store or even...

I called to ask if the store was selling Women's sized USWNT soccer jerseys for the World Cup this summer. The attendant on the phone said yes, they have the jerseys stocked in men's, kids, and women's sizes. When I arrived at the Boston store however, there were only men's and kids jerseys. The in-store worker said "Although there is a men's tag, this is unisex, just wear the men's size." This was a frustrating experience because first, I was lied to on the phone and second, the men's sized jersey doesn't fit me because I have breasts. As a woman, the women's sizes fit me better because they account for the person wearing the item to have breasts. The female worker in the store didn't comprehend this concept. She continued to say that I can wear anything I want despite what gender the tag says. Yes I know I can wear anything I want, but I would like to wear a garment that fits my body shape. I can wear a trash bag, but I'd prefer to wear something that flatters my body shape as a woman. Why isn't Nike selling women's sized jerseys for the Women's World Cup? Why is this still an issue in 2023? I know Nike will not change anything from my comment but I hope that anyone who has had a similar poor experience can express their concerns. Perhaps with cumulative complaints, Nike can see that female fans are interested in women's sized jerseys. I did order a women's sized jersey online, however it will arrive after the first USWNT world cup game and I won't know if the small or medium will fit because I was denied the opportunity to try it on in-person. Maybe Nike will figure this out by the 2027 Women's world cup???...

Awful customer service. It's early in the day on a Wednesday, being too busy isn't an excuse here. I called in to let them know that my brother was their with a group of students that travelled from rural Washington to compete in a national academic competition, and that I wanted to buy them all a hat to remember the trip. I told them when he gets to the front I'd just have him hand over his phone so I could give my card. I also asked if they'd offer any sort of discount for a group of kids, and the individual on the phone was just rude and gruff the whole time, and said "we don't do discounts," before hanging up. Okay, that's fine.

My brother gets to the front of the line and gives me a call, explains that I was going to purchase the team some hats, and went to hand the phone off, and I could tell from the voice of the person that it was the same person I spoke to, and they told him they won't take payment over the phone.

If the policy is that you can't take payments over the phone, fine, I understand. What I don't understand is why they didn't explain that to me when I called and explained what I was doing for these kids the first time. Wish I got this employees name....

I’m a big Nike shoe guy and I have made it a habit to come to the Nike Boston store monthly. Have often found good deals as well as shoes otherwise sold out online or through the app. It’s a Nike store, so you’ll be spending a lot of money for most of the shoes here unless you do happen to find a good deal. Make sure you use the Nike app in store to help figure out what sizes they have of the shoes you’re looking at. You can even request to try on via the app! One thing that is a bit of a bummer is that the store does not have the widest selection. Some speciality shoes (golf shoes for example) don’t seem to ever be carried in store. Wish they could be so I could try some of them on before purchasing online but it’s not the end of the world.

I arrived at Nike Newbury right at their posted opening time of 10am. The front door was already open, so I walked in — only to be stopped and shouted at by a staff member who said they weren’t open yet. She then loudly scolded other staff with comments like “Are you all OK? Ready? " What? If not ready, why open the door? It was confusing and honestly quite unpleasant. Thankfully, the other staff were very kind and helpful. I was able to get baby shoes and a new pair of Air Force 1s with no issue. I live nearby and have visited many times before, usually later in the day — and I’ve never encountered this kind of behavior until now. Grateful to the team who assisted me, but I hope the store can improve how it handles opening time interactions.

Today I went to the store and really wanted to try Nike air max 270. I picked one on the shelve that are my size and tried it. Then the staff tells me with an angry face and rude accent that I can’t try any shoes on the shelve if I want she will pick it back the store. Then I told her I want to try and she checked the store that my size are sold out!!! I can’t try anything!!! Really?? My size just puts on the shelve, and I just want to know how it feels on my feet!!!! If your store doesn’t have it, but I still can buy online. However, why they are so rude to customers? Your guys, not a GOD!! And the shoes are not expensive!!!!!
