Shake the Tree — Local services in Boston

This is a review about their clothing options. Firstly, the selection is pretty limited. They don’t have all sizes of the clothes you see on the racks(not even S,M and L). What you see on the racks, are the only ones available. Most of the clothes are smaller in size. The fitting in the bust area is very limited in almost all the clothes I tried on 😅

Secondly, if you buy something and change your mind, they don’t refund. They give you store credit instead(they only have this one shop in the country). This is very difficult if you’re traveling from another town :( Additionally, the clothes here are definitely not cheap. The dress I was returning costs $220.

Thirdly, I honestly felt that their behavior was a little snooty, when I came back to exchange my dress to something else. As for them personally assisting me(which is what their reply below says), there was not much of it really. They just helped take some of the dresses that I didn’t want from my dressing room,...

Customer service was incredibly disappointing, not a reflection of the quintessential north end friendliness.

I stopped in last week to pick up a present for my friend's thesis exhibit at massart after picking up dinner from Pauli's next door. Having previously worked in higher end retail on Newbury, you couldn't give me enough discounts to come in this store, see below

The saleswoman didn't greet me, she was the only one in the store. Didn't ask me if I needed any help or why I was stopping in. it was awkward as hell from there. I tried making conversation with her about why I was buying the paper weight and she ignored me. I asked her how long this has been in the north end, I just moved down the street a couple months ago - with a snarky reply "15 years" I asked, "oh.. okay, is this a new store front" ... I already knew the answer, I order from Pauli's 3-4 times a week.

This is my first ever review but I had to write in. I bought a ring from here last year that I absolutely loved. Unfortunately, I lost it and emailed to ask if there was another in stock. Marian said no but would keep in touch. Not only did Marian email once it was back in stock, but also took the time to ship the ring to me states away. I am so impressed they reached out after months of the ring not being in stock and remembered to email me. Above and beyond customer service. Would absolutely come here again. The store is really cute too with lots of good...
