This is the perfect place to find a seriously gorgeous handmade gift or tasteful last-minute present that may look expensive but isn't. A woman’s dream, there’s a wide range of affordable things to choose from…including fresh water pearl designs - exquisite earrings - and original pieces made with semi-precious stones.

When I stopped in, Carol, a bona fide fashion professional, was minding the store. She helped me decide which earrings to get and picked out some complimentary bracelets. I saw her help two sisters splurge on retirement gifts for themselves all the while keeping up a funny banter as though they were old friends.

I've passed Angie Star Jewelry countless times while driving/walking down Pearl Street in Boulder. There is always gorgeous jewelry in the window and they rotate the new styles constantly. I called to book an appointment to discuss our wedding rings with Nikki, who explained the shop’s process of and timetable with designing custom rings.

The shop is open daily and you receive the undivided attention of the staff. Nikki and a co-worker whose name I can't remember pulled out a really lovely array of rings according to my preferences. I tried on several and discussed design options. I was absolutely thrilled to find that I could incorporate my beloved grandmother’s diamond into my ring. My fiancé is equally pleased with the selection and the knowledgeable, no-pressure atmosphere of the shop.

I don't buy jewelry often, but I'll be checking at Angie Star first from now on. My wife and I bought our wedding bands from them. First, the quality, selection and price were great. But even more impressive was their service.....In the hectic weeks leading up to the wedding, we actually forgot about ordering bands until 3 weeks before the ceremony. We did get very simple pieces, but they were able to make/size them for us with plenty of time to spare (even though they usually guarantee about 4 weeks turnaround). Then, when my ring was a bit too tight, they fixed it for no additional cost in 2 days! They are all very professional and kind.
