Mariolka's Bridal Boutique — Local services in Boynton Beach

Do not go here!! I have been to this bridal boutique twice. The first time for my best friend and the second time for myself and both times were equally horrible experiences.

The first time they were very short staffed and even had an employee’s sister helping my friend into her dress. They also made us pull our own dresses. There was no organization to the dresses. None of the dresses were what my friend had been asking for and it just felt like they were throwing her into dresses.

We figured it might be a fluke until we went back this last weekend.

We walked in for our appointment and walked us in. When we stood waiting for them to start the appointment the owner looked at us and said something along the lines of, “well go ahead. Go start pulling dresses”. We had to pull the dresses ourselves, again. We asked were certain styles were and they said, “oh, all over the place...they’re organized by designer.” Didn’t even tell us what designers are where.

Now, I don’t know if you have been dress shopping yet, but half of the dresses on a hanger look the same. It’s almost impossible to know what shape they truly are. We were left completely on our own.

Eventually we gave up and decided to try on whatever it was that we had pulled out.

I didn’t like anything that was pulled. None of the dresses remotely fit (which is fine, because they’re samples), however, I was never pinned well into a dress to see how it would truly fit.

One dress had really scratchy straps with beading. I told the lady helping me that I didn’t care for the bearding on the straps. They took that as I didn’t like any beading at all. Wrong. So the following dresses were sooo plain and simple, which is not what I was looking for. We tried on another couple of dresses with straps and I decided I wasn’t liking straps on the dress. I told the lady helping me that we can rule out any dresses with straps since they just weren’t my style. They kept bringing me dresses with straps. Over and over and over. When I would tell them I don’t like the straps they would just try to convince me to try a different style of strap. I wasn’t brought a strapless dress until the last two dresses they brought me.

I told them I wanted a strapless fit and flare and they all stared at me either like they thought I was crazy or like they didn’t understand what I said. And never brought me anything similar. I felt like they were just throwing dresses at me hoping I might like one of them. At one point someone said to me, “well it might help if you told me what styles you liked.” -_- This was after at least 10 dresses and me telling them after every one what I wanted to try.

I also three different people taking turns helping me into the dresses. There was no consistency. There were three other brides sharing the “runway” so there were a few times I had to stand awkwardly to the side to wait for another bride to walk back to the dressing room before I could show my family what I had tried on.

The mirrors are also placed in odd places so when you’re standing in front of your family and friends you can’t see yourself anywhere. You have to walk away from them and further away to see yourself. The lights were dim so it didn’t give you a true idea of what the dress color actually looked like.

After two times visiting the store and both times ending the same way I would not recommend this to...

Unprofessional and extremely rude!!!! Avoid this store! I came to this boutique upon recommendation and was absolutely disappointed and more importantly, left with a gown I CANNOT wear for my destination wedding in 2 weeks! I came to Mariolka with my mother's wedding gown, which was hand made by my aunt- who I wanted to surprise, as she is my wedding guest (she is suffering from Alzheimer's and leukemia). THIS DRESS IS SENTIMENTAL TO ME so hopefully you will understand that I was devastated about the results Mariolkas has served me with, after 7months of my first fitting. She made excuses of why she couldn't work with the fabric and bashed my aunt's work. Furthermore, I specifically discussed with her what I would like my wedding dress to look like during my first (!) fitting- I even brought a printed out picture of the style I wanted to go with. All of my wishes were disregarded. I respect a professional opinion, but I AM WEARING THE DRESS, I AM THE BRIDE- I am paying you for services you took on. Mariolka never listen and accused me of lying when I expressed my disappointment! She sold me an ivory tull skirt and brutally cut out Tull, after I told her I didn't want a puffy skirt. She went on to leave extra Tull in the back. The skirt looks completely uneven and the Top was cut to a length I never requested. To all Brides: she prides herself with over 20 years of experience but lacks in bridal services all together! She yelled in her store and took care of other appointments while she was to give me her undivided attention, because I too, had an appointment. I was charged $300 for services that were not completed and left with a dress I cannot wear 14(!) Days before my wedding! This is supposed to be a great experience you share with your bridesmaids and mom's, and it got taken away from me by Mariolka. Do not go here!!!!!!!!

Update: as you can see, the employees at this place is not taking responsibility and putting false claims on to the Google reviewing website. Again, the process of picking out your dress and making sure it's the perfect dress for your wedding should be a positive experience with your loved ones. The response by this company should show any future bride, that in fact customer service is none of their Quality, instead making a "quick sale" and making a customer/ bride feel badly about the purchase of their dress is in fact what...

My entire experience at Mariolka's was a DREAM!!! My wedding dress shopping started and ended at Mariolka's because I found the dress at my very first dress appointment! I chose Mariolka's Bridal Boutique because I grew up in Boynton Beach and because they are one of the VERY limited number of bridal boutiques that carry the Disney Weddings collection! Having a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding, I needed to book my appointment here! My mom and sister were with me and we were promptly greeted by the mother/daughter duo and their sweet store pup!! These ladies are the real deal pros. They've been in this industry for so long and know exactly what they are doing! I was able to try on 20+ dresses. Anything I thought looked good or possibly thought I might like, I was allowed to try on! Jess was so efficient and worked so hard to accommodate EVERYTHING for me. I went back to dress #2! It was definitely the one!!! My dress wasn't even part of the Disney Collection like I thought I wanted, but I am so glad that I was able to try on what I thought I wanted! I recommend dress shopping here 1000%. These ladies are so kind, but also don't give any B.S. which quickly made us trust them. These ladies want you to find the perfect dress so they are really not pushy, but I really think that your dream dress will be in their store when you go. The selection they carry is outstanding!!!!!! The shopping process was honestly too easy, the alterations 5 months later was such a breeze, and overall the entire experience was truly magical.
