I can't believe I have to write this review. I am a frequent TJ Max shopper. I mostly shop at this location and my experience has always been pleasant with no complaints . What happened today shocked and troubled me. I just could not believe that the staff, including the store manager ,would treat a regular shopper/customer with such a poor regard and humiliation. My intention was to return a pair of pants purchased on. And then shop for my international trip that I have planned. The cashier picks up the pants and starts smelling them saying quite loud , these were washed . She holds them up for the customers on line to see and smells away . I respond by saying , this is insulting ,I did not wash the pants . She takes the pants , walks away from the register looking for the manager to smell them. Mind you , she holds up the line and the customers know what's going on. I was really annoyed and insulted along with being embarrassed. The manager comes to the register area . She does not even make any eye contact and doesn't acknowledge me. I was annoyed and tried to tell her I did not wash them . I was told she would not return them and she was going to do me a favor by returning them. I do not understand that . I had a receipt, it was within 30 days . I could not believe this was all going on over a pair of 20 dollar pants . I tossed the pants behind the counter because at this point what was I going to do with the pants . She starts making a scene accusing me of throwing the bag at her . Which is absolutely ridiculous. She tries to give me the bag back but I just wanted the receipt. Just unbelievable that your costumers, frequent shopper customers were put in this situation and humiliated in front of others. Read moreI am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding a pair of sandals I purchased from your store on.Unfortunately, the product turned out to be defective, as the sandals completely fell apart and became unusable within just a few days of normal use.
Upon returning to the store to request a replacement, I was informed by the staff that the item could not be accepted because it had been used. However, the sandals were purchased for the very purpose of being worn, and their premature failure indicates a clear defect in quality and workmanship. Under consumer protection laws, a product that proves to be defective within such a short period falls under the category of goods not meeting satisfactory quality standards, entitling the buyer to a repair, replacement, or refund.
Since the refusal to address this issue is in violation of consumer rights, I will escalate this matter to the relevant consumer protection authorities if a resolution is not provided promptly. I kindly request an appropriate resolution, either in the form of a replacement or a refund, within from the date of this letter.
Please confirm receipt of this complaint and provide your response at your earliest convenience. I look forward to resolving this...
Read moreI was shocked and unsure if the girl was new or just miserable. I bought a pair of Calvin Klein black slacks for work. I washed them once as directed and the elastic in the fabric frayed really bad. I was so upset because it took me three stores and two days to find these, the ones I liked and then they're destroyed. I took them back to either exchange them or get credit so I could buy another pair but the girl, never got her name but Sunday morning on register 7 and a blonde said because I washed them I couldn't exchange them. I guess she doesn't wash her clothes she just buys and that's her choice but I do and they were destroyed. I'm upset about this already and then now that. I finally went to TJ's/Homegoods and had absolutely no problem. Also found a pair of black slacks that will do until I can find ones I really like again. This store in Lantana/Lake Worth on Jog is out of my way but worth the drive to avoid the hassle. So if you have a return, don't waste your time at this store. Much bigger store and better...
