This pharmacy when downhill in the worst possible way. I've been going there for 20 years and in the last few months, some big change occurred. You can never get to speak to anyone without waiting on the phone for at least 20 minutes. It always says " there are more than 3 callers ahead of you". I have been in the drive thru, waiting on the phone while it's ringing, drive up to the window, and NO ONE is picking up. They're just chatting, completely ignoring the phone, NO customers. They also deleted my prescriptions when I just asked them to stop processing because I didnt need them right away. I have the In process text messages and emails showing that they received them, however they won't apologize at all and make it my problem instead of theirs. The Pharmacist speaks to you like you're a moron. She's extremely condescending, I'm floored that she's in charge of anything. The previous pharmacist, Maria Terese, was SO nice, friendly and the staff was great! Kindness is just not a quality this new pharmacist possesses. Also, all of a sudden, 95 percent of the staff are the same race, from the same background. I am a person of color, I love diversity, but this is so bizarre compared to the last crew, it seems like a clear bias. I've also been inside, waiting on scripts that were not filled because of THEIR error and heard the phone ring and again, NO ONE answers. They're just chatting and making jokes....
Read moreIf I could give this store 0 stars I would. There is always something wrong with this pharmacy and they are horrible at communicating. Recently I received the wrong amount of my prescription…dispensed by them, and they told me there is nothing they can do for me and now I have to call my insurance to get an override on the prescription because they messed up. If I am unable to get an override I risk missing my medication for a week or having to pay $300 out of pocket. Another time, I was told by one of the pharmacist that they would fill my prescription for me when I had called it in, I waited a couple days to give them some time. I called back and they told me they couldn’t refill the prescription because it needs to be approved by my doctor. Tell me why wouldn’t they communicate that to me the first time I asked for it to be refilled rather than waiting for me to call them to check on my prescription a few days later! Ive been using this store for years and they never have any of my information saved and I always have to re-confirm information, which makes it difficult to order my prescription over the phone too. I have never experienced so many issues with getting prescriptions than I have at Walgreens in South Florida. Especially this location, which says I use refills MUCH faster than is possible, leading my GP and other providers to have to send new prescriptions.
They also fail to fill my prescriptions after my providers send them over. I always have to go in and ask for them to be filled after the fact.
Additionally, there have been numerous times where I bring in a a prescription and the pharmacy just doesn't fill it.
I am mostly thankful that these prescriptions aren't important for my physical health. I can only imagine having to deal with this place if I needed insulin, heart medication, etc.
