I'm visiting my sister in South Florida. Tonight we ate in Red lobster. I have eaten in Red lobster in Wisconsin where I live and always had a good and enjoyable meal. The meal I had tonight was the worst Red lobster meal I've ever eaten. First off the service. We had to wait for a table and there were no seats in the lobby so we went and sat at the bar. We were told that the 15 to 20 minutes. It was longer than that and we still hadn't been called so I got up and went to the front desk and asked what was our status. The hostess said she was just coming to get us and if there was a table open for us in the bar area where we were sitting fine. So we sat down and waited for a waitress. No waitress came so after 10 minutes or so I called the Red lobster restaurant on my cell phone. After going through all the app responses I finally got a real person to answer the phone. I told her where we were sitting and we were waiting for a waitress. The waitress came and we ordered iced teas. But there was still nothing on the table, no bread no plates no butter nothing. The waitress came out with her t's and we asked her for some bread and menus. She came back and took our orders, My sister ordered the salad with our her meal. Our meals were brought out without the salad, and we have to call back to waitress again to a reminder to bring the salad cuz the meals were already on the table. The meals were the quality of a frozen TV dinner. I ordered the admirals feast, and had visions of plump shrimp, clams, scallops and fish. I ordered a baked potato and broccoli as side dishes. The broccoli was rather good plump juicy tasty and sizable quantity. The baked potato was fine cooked tasted good but it was the size of a small ball under 2 in in diameter. The clam strips were a joke they were from a quarter inch long to an inch long maybe 3/16 in diameter. They were overbreaded overcooked and had no clam flavor. But there was a good quantity of them maybe 20 pieces. The scallops all 12 to 15 were the size of a 1/4 to 3/8 in cube. The size of a sugar cube. Much of it was breading on the outside. On the inside there was a slight taste of scallop, hardly the plum scallops that I had envisioned. The shrimp, five total, were split and fried in a butterfly manner. The shrimp themselves were about an eighth of an inch thick, edible but not juicy or plump. The fried fish all two pieces we're about 5 in long breaded but remove the breading and the fish inside was only 1/8 of an inch thick, hardly a plump piece of fish. On top of that my sister ordered a cup of coffee. When it came the coffee was so bitter she could not drink...

My husband and I came to the Boynton Beach location for dinner on 1/14/19. We ordered the ultimate feast consisting of Lobster tail, Scallops, coconut shrimp and shrimp scampi. I am 7 months pregnant which is what makes the experience all the more shocking and inexcusable. The waitress was aware of this and congratulated us on the pregnancy and also recommend the Cesar salad as the romaine lettuce is better for pregnancy. When the food came the scallops were raw, not just slightly undercooked but raw. They had a blue see-through sheen as you cut into them and cold. As I have mentioned earlier in this complaint I am 7 months pregnant and being served raw selfish is now not only just a mishap but incredibly dangerous as you are hopefully aware and completely unacceptable. In addition to this the lobster was also undercooked. I began with the lobster first and the waitress immediately recognised it was undercooked and sent it back to be broiled. On her return I showed her that my scallops were raw essentially seared on both sides for what could have been for no more than 10 seconds. She agreed that they were raw but didn't offer to recook them or get me a fresh skewer just apologised for the inconvenience and in fact looked somewhat shocked herself at what my husband and I were experiencing. This was a comedy of errors. A pregnant woman should be able to go out to eat at a seafood restaurant and not have to worry about getting poisoned due to the chefs incompetence. We dutifully left a tip for the waitress as the primary issue was not her fault and explained our dissatisfaction or which she apologised for and we left. At the time I was too in shock and somewhat upset to raise it with a manager but once I had got home and rested I believed it to be imperative to bring this to your attention before I escalate this further.
Please seek to resolve this issue as a matter of urgency and put this right. I have saved a copy of the receipt and would like to actually take the opportunity to speak to the GM about this also. I believed it to be imperative to also get this in writing. To pay $40 for a meal that is inedible is absurd and in this case was unfortunately dangerous.
I wrote a message directly on the contact us page on Monday and unfortunately I have not received any response. With saying this I have been left with no choice other than to post a review. Please do not respond asking me to message you on the contact us page as I have...
Read moreI went to this location today to pick up my lunch order. I got there at around 12:50PM and walked straight to the bar. The woman (not sure of her name, average height, brown hair in ponytail) who was at the bar didnt acknowledge me at first however I did see that she had been helping someone else. I spotted what I thought was my to go order on the counter. She came up to me and immediately said "it will be 5 minutes for your order. I said ok not a problem realizing that the to go order on the counter was not actually mine. She seemed extremely frustrated about something to the point where her manager told her to calm down, even making motions with his arms in a downward motion. She came back towards me and asked for my name which I provided and she walked away. I assumed she was going to check on my order. About 5 minutes went by and a co-worker asked her if she had done something and she blurted out in front of me and other customers "I cant do everything, you have me doing the bar and this and that" (There was 3 people at the bar, me, another gentlemen who literally sat down at the same time I got there and another gentlemen who was just having a drink). She then came over to me again and asked for my name. I said my name again very calmly. 20 minutes had now passed. She looked at the to go bag on the counter, grabbed it, looked at the receipt, placed it in front of me and said here is your order. I was in disbelief. The to go order that I originally thought was mine, had been mine the entire time I was sitting there. She went over the order, took my card, scanned it, threw the reciept and pen on the desk and literally walked away. No thank you, no im sorry for the wait, no silverware, no napkins, nothing. I honestly think I sat there for 30 seconds in disbelief because the same manager that told her to calm down asked me if everything was ok and I just looked at him and said I guess so. He didnt even ask what was wrong. I just walked out (1:13PM) and ate cold sticky pasta with alfredo...
