Our experience at First Watch was incredible from the very start—and a huge part of that was thanks to Stormie, who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable.

Stormie greeted us with a bright, genuine smile that instantly made us feel welcomed and at ease. She had an incredible balance of professionalism and warmth—attentive without being intrusive, and always ready with great menu recommendations and thoughtful conversation. She checked on us regularly, made sure our drinks were always full, and anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Her positive attitude was contagious, and you could tell she truly enjoyed what she does.

Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal. I ordered the Farmhouse Hash, and every bite was bursting with fresh flavor. The potatoes were perfectly crisp, the eggs were cooked exactly to order, and the smoked bacon added the right amount of savory depth. My guest had the Avocado Toast, which was not only beautifully presented but incredibly delicious with ripe avocado, cage-free eggs, and a hint of lemon zest that pulled everything together. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and made from quality ingredients—which is exactly what First Watch is known for.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was just as impressive. Bright natural light filled the space, giving it a warm and airy feel. The interior had a modern yet cozy farmhouse vibe—clean lines, rustic wood accents, and inviting greenery throughout. It’s the kind of place where you feel relaxed and refreshed just by being there. Even during the busy brunch rush, it never felt chaotic or too loud. The entire environment felt well managed, calm, and welcoming.

My recent visit left much to be desired. Despite being regular patrons, our experience this time was incredibly disappointing.

Firstly, we waited for over 90 minutes for our food to arrive, which is simply unacceptable. When it did finally come, it was brought out two at a time with 5-10 minutes in between each drop, with two of our orders completely forgotten. Coffee carafes were placed on our table with no mugs and had to flag people down that weren't our waitress to get mugs. We were forced to ask for assistance multiple times.

Even when the meals did arrive, one of them was incorrect. The lack of attention to detail was evident throughout our entire visit. To make matters worse, there was no effort to clear our table as we finished our meals. Our entire table was full of dirty dishes as we left despite seeing other tables being cleared by our waitress right next to us.

Our waitress seemed to be more preoccupied with other tasks, as she failed to check on us or attend to our needs promptly. It was disheartening to watch her spend an abnormal amount of time and attention on other tables while we struggled to receive basic service.

Although both the manager and waitress apologized for the inconvenience, no tangible steps were taken to rectify the situation. While I'm not seeking a free meal or compensation, the dismissive attitude towards our experience is unacceptable.

As someone who frequents First Watch, I expected better. Ignoring our table, getting orders wrong, and providing such a subpar experience, all while attributing it to being busy, is simply not acceptable. Needless to say, we left feeling thoroughly disappointed and unsure if...
