Abby's Tourist Trap — Local services in Branson

Stopped by quite a few times on our trip for ice cream and cobbler. Really enjoyed the soft serve, cobbler, and floats. They also have fudge, which I didn't get around to trying. The food items are the most reasonable on the strip and provide exceptional value. It's a nice respite from the OUTRAGEOUSLY high pricing of other dessert options on the strip. I'm not sure about merchandise, but the price on food items included taxes, wich is no doubt unusual and nice. I guess it also really simplifies things when people are paying for whole-dollar items with cash. The employees that the Duttons hire here and at their theater were always incredibly pleasant and friendly. In my opinion the Duttons need a catchy and funny pre-recorded advertising segment for Abby's just like they do for the light sabers prior to the show. The $1 soft serve ice cream caught our attention! You had vanilla, chocolate, and swirl as your options. We got one of each and they were all good. They also have $3 medium cup and $5 large cup options along with peach cobbler and blueberry cobbler. The merchandise is very nice. A good assortment of souvenirs along with just all around nice items and keepsakes. The added surprise is that the Dutton Show performers work there and that in itself was a super cool surprise. I didn’t know that they actually made it to the top 10 on AGT! All their shirts and sweaters are preshrunk which comes in handy when choosing the right sizing for someone. I didn't want to leave bad stars, but there's no other way besides the owners making changes. We stopped by this place because the reviews and photos looked like what we were i. Search of. But when we got there, there was a note on the door that said they were closed for the winter. Please, owner, take an extra small step and update your hours on google maps so people dont waste their precious time in traveling here just to read a note on the door.
