If you've suffered from that common problem of remembering how delicious something was from years ago, and nothing matches it, then this is your cure. I implore you, have a bonbon. Pause for a moment, pop it in your mouth, remember what delicious is. If you're a Dad, then get a couple for yourself to enjoy on the way home. Sorry but this is too good for the kids. When you go to purchase chocolates at Tavernier's, be ready to order double what you think you will be ordering, it’s just that good! The couple who runs the store is beyond kind and very knowledgeable about chocolates. They make everything themselves and it shows with the love they put into each chocolate item. I’m so glad they were able to turn their passion into something everyone can enjoy. They work hard to work with local food suppliers, which gives them the ability to offer unique flavors. I have not visited here but bought some of their delicious chocolates at Groton Farms in Brattleboro. Bought a gorgeous Brattleboro Bar and their Rouge Chocolate Bar. Both are made with delicious Venezuelan chocolate. Both are beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. My favorite is the Rouge bar. It has pepper in it. I was hesitant to purchase this because I don't like spicy hot foods but the pepper was not at all hot but you could taste it. It really enhances the other flavors in this Bar.
