Zephyr Designs — Local services in Brattleboro

A must stop in store when shopping in Brattleboro. Very helpful with any of my art, crafts, or framing needs. I have had many inspirational moments while visiting this gem of Brattleboro over the years. The staff here are willing to take the time to understand my needs and share the knowledge of various art tools and supplies. This store has never led me towards buying something I have no need for. If Zephyrs does not carry what I am in need of they graciously direct me to where I can get what I am in need of for the project in hand. The willingness to help me to achieve the project I am working on at the time has done nothing but keep my drive to create going forward. I love creating visual art and am ever so thankful for all the help I find when entering this establishment. Yes, sometimes I go here and have to wait a bit longer for service. But the wait is worth my time as I watch the staff helping others as they help me. Many of art stores I have visited as well as other stores the staff are self involved and seem to have no interest in help the customers rather they make people wait while they tend to their gossip or other non customer focused task. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The owner frequently goes above and beyond to satisfy customers, whether they are longtime regulars or first timers.

Framing is both reasonably priced and outstanding. I've never found a single flaw in any of my purchases.

As of recent years, I have seen the store update it's art supplies often. They clearly care about the changing trends and are always trying to bring in new items. Their selection of pens is always a joy to look at, and I find myself often buying a new one even when I only intend on getting other products at the time.

I stopped in today, for the first time, with a framing project. John (owner) and Cindy couldn't have been more kind or helpful. They teamed up to get the job completed more timely than I could have hoped for. This is definitely the place to shop for all your framing needs (and art supplies) for an experience that restored my faith that quality service and customer care does still exist in today's more impersonalized world.
