I worked in restaurants for over 10 years and normally never leave negative reviews but unfortunately I was given no choice. We went there with a 1.5 year old because there was a kids menu, but there were no high chairs or changing tables which was a frustration but we made due. We started out by sitting down for over 30 minutes before being greeted (which we ended up having to ask for someone to take out order), meanwhile while we waited we watched servers cleaning off tables where there wasn’t anyone even waiting to take these tables. We got our drinks and ordered our apps and they came out (with no plates or utensils), but again we made due.
We waited another 45 minutes for someone to check and see how our apps were, order our meals and order another round of drinks. During this time we saw servers checking their phones and chatting. A server walked by us and I asked if we could place our order and she dismissed me by waving her hand and telling me to hold on. While she then turned to another server and said “the gingerbread man is still there” and indicated she was checking to see if the kids previously dining in that spot with their family took it… instead of checking on a table.
When the sever came back she mentioned they were busy prior to us coming in, to the point where a bartender had to work in the kitchen and I understand that… but this may be why we had 2 out of 4 meals that were not edible. No one ever asked how our untouched food was. We went in for an app meal and beers and were there while it was not busy for over two hours.
We feel deceived, we were made to feel like the inconveniencing the servers for asking what we need, but no one made an effort to check on us, and then we received a hand wave with an eye roll and were dismissed. We won’t be going back which is unfortunate because we love to support local restaurants...
Read moreThey weren’t lying when they said it would be the best chicken sandwich I’d ever eat. Hands down the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had — perfectly crispy, juicy, and that house-made aioli deserves its own fan club. Pro tip: add the beer cheese on top — total game changer.
The truffle Parmesan fries were absolute perfection, and don’t even get me started on the coleslaw. Everyone claims to have good coleslaw, but it usually tastes like sadness and dishwater — not here! This was actually fire coleslaw, even for people who don’t normally like it.
K Money was super attentive, and it’s clear the owners are true jacks of all trades — making sure every guest leaves with full bellies and full smiles. The owners are some of the nicest humans you’ll meet; you can tell they pour their heart into every detail. Plus, the place has such a cool vibe with its old-bank vault and decor. I’m already excited to go back and see what new menu items they come up with and what creative touches they bring to the space. At this point, I can’t wait until he runs for president — he already has my vote. Live, laugh, love — and eat this...
Read moreI went there on a whim when I was in town on work, and it was so good I went back the following day for more! The atmosphere and vibe was extremely chill; Very spacious and plentiful seating options, with a bar as well. I enjoyed, 2 days in a row, one of the best hot dogs I've had in a long time! I didn't have time to measure it as my stomach demanding I eat it immediately, but it was probably close to a foot long and thick (Not a standard 'footlong' from the grocery store, these dogs were girthy!)
I had the bacon cheese dog, and they were not shy with the toppings. Definitely planning on visiting again soon, and I need to bring my wife too! Pics included from my first meal there, and no there were not any leftovers 😂 (Everything came out pretty quickly too, not a long wait for food at all)
(Edit: I'm reading some of the negative reviews, and I just wanted to add that both times I came in, I was immediately greeted and had my order taken as soon as I was ready, it seems like they're under relatively new management, so maybe...
