Do not place online orders for pick up at this store! What should have been a 5 minute stop turned into 45 minute ordeal even though I presented both the order confirmation and the your order is ready for pickup email. I was told by asst. manager that she had no paper work for my order and my order could not be found.After getting nowhere with her I looked over at table by front door and there were the two Halloween cats I had ordered on line, I might add only available online, sitting there for purchase even though I had already paid for them. Too make a long story short, the asst manager walked away from me three times,simply refusing to deal with me. I got so frustrated I decided to call corporate customer service for Hallmark. I was assured by the cordial,helpful representative that my order was at the store. I explained that I was getting no help from asst manager so she said she would tell her that the order was there. The asst manager refused to speak with her using my phone, so the rep had to call her on the store phone. While all this was going on I heard the ast manager tell the manager over the phone that I was not going to get the two cats ordered and paid for by me and that if I tried to take them she would call the police or 911 and have me arrested. The story ends with me getting my order finally, but the treatment I endured will not be forgotten. Hard to believe right? Read the review from four months ago written by someone who had received email that order was ready for pickup only to go to this store and be told the order was cancelled. Beware of this place. Today I received sincere apology from the manager of this store and invitation to meet her and return to this store. They have two processes where the items are located at the store for in stock product and customer is called for their buy online order in store pickup and the other is customers going online and having product shipped to the store so they can avoid shipping costs. The store gets NO notification that a customer ordered something online. The box is delivered to the store with all the rest of our shipments. The two processes get confusing to the customer and the staff. Because the store has NO idea a customer ordered product to have it shipped to the store to avoid paying shipping costs. The store only gets notified if it’s a pick up in store NOT shipped to the store. Trying to communicate with the customer of what kind of order it was again is confusing to customers. We are giving hallmark feedback to eliminate the shipped to store or at best notify the store that’s package is coming. Read moreI visited last night the Brecksville store hoping to find a frame for Father's Day, like it showed on the website. I was very unpleasantly surprised to see that they had almost NOTHING for Father's Day!!! For a store with so high expectations and so high prices: very disappointing!!!!!!!!!! Ironically, today I got an email saying: "Hurry in, Father's Day is Sunday"...hurry in for what? cards?...there are many, many other cheap stores that have cards!!!
