BoxLunch — Local services in Brookside

My first experience at BoxLunch this afternoon was beyond any expectations. BoxLunch was suggested by another store's associate (Lush) who was wearing a Miles Morales pin. Since my daughter is obsessed with Miles, we embarked on a hunt to find the same pin.

As we entered, a female associate pleasantly greeted us and directed us to the items they had in store regarding anything Miles Morales. We knew from our prior conversation that the pins were closer to the register. As we began our search (the pins were in smaller bins) a male associate, Tony, began talking with us about his shared love of Miles Morales. Tony politely informed us that since the character was so popular, they more than likely were sold out.

We continued searching and did find a Gwen Stacy pin and figured we could start a collection nonetheless. As we were about to make our purchase and head to Hot Topic (which was suggested by a second female associate), Tony kindly offered his personal Miles Morales pin from his own collection.

To say I was blown away by the act of kindness is an understatement. My daughter who is shy, was thrilled, and it meant so much to both her and I.

I hardly leave reviews, but felt it was worth to share my interaction today and Tony's pure kindness towards my daughter.

Orion and Tony always make my day so much better. I cannot express how much they improve my shopping experience. They continually make me laugh and always feel welcomed in the store whenever I drop by to shop or look. They also know immediately what I would love to wear or buy and make sure to point me in the direction of it in the store. I truthfully have never been happier in a store shopping till I found box lunch. I have never been a mall person but meeting Ori and Tony, it has changed my view making me adore wandering around the store while just having casual conversations with both of them showing immense care in how my day is going, how life has been, and just catching up while also talking about the merch, anime, and other nerdy things that make me love BoxLunch!

Be careful buying clothes in Boxlunch at the Christiana Mall in Newark, Delaware. I know for a fact that the employees wear whatever they want. As long as they don't get anything on it, they can just put it back in stock. I was told this by a couple of employees and managers. I also know they open the blind boxes and get what they want without paying. I think they reseal the blind boxes they don't want. Don't bother calling Corporate because they never get...
