JT Boba House — Restaurant in Buckeye

I love the atmosphere, and cleanliness of this boba house's sitting area. I was just disappointed because I noticed that every time the woman assisting us at the register grabbed a cup to mark it, her hands went inside our cups. This wouldn't be too big of a deal, but the amount her money handling hand went into the cup worried me. Then because of this, I started to look into the back area where they make the drinks and realized the girl back there was taking her fingers and literally wiping off the rim of the cup with her bare hands as well. I just did not think that to be too hygenic, but I for some reason decided to not be so uptight about it and get a drink. Well, my mother-in-law and myself got completely different drinks and are both after not eating any other of the same food today got sick to our stomachs all night. I am disappointed because of how cute the environment is, and how badly I hoped this place would be a good new place to go out to. But overall it is a little over priced, from my observation doesn't practice food safety, and the service...

According to their listed business hours they are open til 8pm, yet on 3 separate occasions I went there just after 7pm and they were closed. I tried again today and they happened to be open. So I stepped inside and waited in line, until I was asked if I had a mask (despite the Governor of AZ lifting the mask mandate). I said no, actually I don’t. I was then told I couldn’t be in there store without a mask. I went back a short while later after getting a mask. The lights were on, the door was open, yet after I entered I was told they were closed. I said I thought you were open until 8pm. The girl said we are, but we stop taking orders 10 minutes prior. Might I add it was not yet 7:50pm. So due to their complete lack of customer service skills and the fact that they obviously don’t value anyone’s time but their own....I will never spend a penny of my hard earned money in this...

As an edit, and I will leave my original review up by the way, after a rude encounter with one of their staff i really dont think I'll ever come back. There is no way I'm going to be paying $7 for a drink to be treated like a burden. Both employees made it very apparent that neither wanted to serve us. Will not be coming back here anytime soon.

I have no complaints here. The staff is friendly, and helpful. Will help you out with orders if you're having issues.

Large selection or drinks, and many options to select from. Has options for people who can't handle lactose, like myself.

You will be charged 25 cents to use your card if your order is under 10$. Think about this before attacking this great place for taking on another 25 cents to a 6$ order, cause it really isn't that bad.
