On July 10th at 5:45pm I arrived at this Dutch Bros.
Very poor customer service at this location. I absolutely love Dutch Bros and I was certainly disappointed with this locations system of taking orders, their lack of friendliness, and work ethic of the employees.
To start, when I arrived in line there was two cars ahead of me one in the left lane and one in the right lane. I preceded to go in the right lane to follow the shortest line rule. After the brorista took the left cars order another car pulled up behind (a red Toyota) after everyone was already there. Another brorista came out and took that new cars order instead of ours. The car in front of us apparently, already had their order taken and was just sitting there while the brorista’s talked to the other two cars. Once the first left cars order was taken and they moved forward then the car in front of us moved forward following them. After which the red Toyota moved forward ahead of us. While all of this was happening, more cars preceded to line up. The first brorista took another left cars (a silver van) order and then the second brorista came to take our order. After she took our order she told us to wait and follow the car to the left of us (a silver van) which had arrived after us and finished ordering after us as well. We had to wait additional five minutes for them to talk to what was apparently one of their friends.
Secondly, while waiting in line after ordering there were three brorista’s that came out of the back door during what I would consider a very busy time to take out three crates, put them next to the trash can and precede to talk and dance while there are cars lining up and waiting.
Lastly, after the first three of four cars ahead of us left they brought our drinks out to us, quickly gave them to us through our window then preceded to turn around and walk away saying thank you and that was it. As we approached the window to say thank you, the employees had there backs turned and we were not acknowledged.
I will still go my locate Dutch, but I will not be returning to this location until there is some serious improvements...
Read moreThere are numerous things that I like about Dutch Brothers, and one issue that always makes me consider going elsewhere. They open at 5a.m. which is highly convenient for those of us who need to be up at an early hour. They have two drive through lanes which are identical, in relation to ordering. One has two options in regards to pay: One can pay with cash or a credit card, or one can download and install The Dutch Brothers app, and pre- load it (via a credit card). Either way is quite quick. If you use their app, you can choose to receive notifications regarding specials and other events. When you pull through their drive-thru, an individual is present( outside) to immediately take your order. You do not have to exit your vehicle, which is time efficiently used. You drive forward to the window and receive your order. Therefore, both lanes do have to merge into one, and allow one vehicle to take precedence.. This has never been a problem, nor have I seen any issues with this. They have a variety of milks to choose from: low- fat, soy, oat etc.. Also, you can make any(sane) adjustments to your coffee order (Stevia, Equal) and add espresso or a variety of flavors. They do not have an indoor seating area. They do appear to have an outdoor seating area. They are also conveniently located, directly off of Watson. Their staff is always prompt and polite. They often remember repeat consumers, as well as their orders. They have chocolate milk, as well as a few other fruit smoothies for children, as well as a menu(albeit limited) of sweet bread and pastries(scones, banana bread, or cinnamon rolls) which change. Be prepared to pay a minimum of $7.00, for a cup of coffee. This is comparable to Starbucks. The only issue I have, is that once you are in the queue, if it is very busy or slow, you cannot get out. So, for those who are claustrophobic, it may be something that they...
Read moreIt was a crisp winter morning. I arrived at the Dutch Bros on Watson at 0500 on a Sunday. I was the first one there. I pulled up and there was no one outside. They waved me forward to order at the window. I had never done this before, as there was always someone outside to take my order first. Anyhow, I was excited to just pull straight through to the window. I rolled my window down mid-yawn and the guy at the window said, with the utmost enthusiasm, "Well, hello there! What brings you in so early today?" I was taking the motorcycle basic riders course in Mesa. It started at 0600, so that's why I was there so early; you know DAMN well you can always catch me at a Dutch bros if my day is starting THAT early. Anyway, it was the second day of the course, which was test day. I was super nervous because I was a completely new rider and needed a lot more practice. I voiced this to the Dutch bros employee. The next thing I know, they pass me my drink. The guy tells me good luck and sends me on my way. I looked at my cup of nice warm hot chocolate and written on the side of my cup is "you're gonna do great, don't worry!🖤" I pulled up to the motorcycle place and drank the last of my hot chocolate. I could feel the warmth, along with love, line my stomach. I believe that this is the only reason I passed that motorcycle test. Dutch bros took the handlebars for me on this one. By some grace of God, which I believe to be Dutch bros, I was able to pass. These Dutch bro employees are the bests...
