Buyer mostly. Sold once. We find great deals here. While I definitely would have liked more for my sale I do realize that after the offer I had the choice to refuse their offer and try other thrifting/consigning options. I thrift and do consignments quite a bit I have been blessed to find deals on quality items that would other wise not be affordable.
I came to the understanding that they have a business and goal floor sale for every item they buy from the public. They have to keep in mind sales and markdowns and in some cases not make any or much money from items in the store longer than expected. This was explained to me by another and former consignment owner.
It may be a good idea to research your items before you buy and sell to be sure there a is good deal on both ends. Go in all consignment shops with an open, reasonable and fair mind. In some cases, it may be a better place to buy from than sell to.
I have also found that associates in the same consignment shop could see your sell differently in wear and value. I have browsed shops to find really worn and battered items compared to what I tried to sell and was told could not be accepted. Weigh your options. Most of us take good care of items in case of donation or sell(online or in store).
There was 1 occasion when I and my family may not have experienced the best service but the current staff has generally been very helpful, knowledgeable and kind to my family. Even changed the music when a song with inappropriate language popped up( I did not ask.)

Read moreBad attitudes from employees. No diversity in skin color pertaining to employees. The workers are nice sometimes and other times have attitudes for no reason. Maybe they have a reason, but it should not be evident to customers or transferred to their professionalism. It would be nice to see more diversity in the types of workers. I have shopped and sold items at this store for years and you do not see a diversity in skin color. I have only seen 1 person of minority that has worked there for a long period of time. Someone I know that was well qualified was never called and was told many excuses of why she was not called, but there are new hires that are caucasian. Many minorities have class, style, knowledge of expensive brands that half the staff at this location do not even have knowledge of, and would be a great asset to the company but they would never know because they will not be hired. Minorities are good enough to purchase their designer, name brand, or stylish items from and stock their store but not looked at as a possible great employee for their store. That is my perception from what I have seen and heard from people I know that have applied with this store. I really liked and do like this store for their deals on items, but there are issues that need to be addressed and worked on. Hopefully this review will allow the management and owners to see what people/customers see and feel about this store and changes will be made. This is not just my perception, but others well that are not willing to voice their feelings. I will and have. Hopefully change will happen with...
Read moreHORRIBLE SERVICE, DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES, DISHONEST STORE MANAGER EMILY. This store perform deceptive businessagainst its customers for profit. They lie about how much they are offering you and, when you ask to view the sell policy they create a new lie and if you ask more than once or twice they ban you from the store. The store manager Emily and a few other sale associates practice race discrimination against black/ brown customers/sellers. They have removed their sell policy for customers to review from the store completely. 🤔 (RED FLAG)Therefore, they expect you to trust them. 🙄DON'T TRUST THEM EVER!!!! 🤔🤔🤔If you decide to do business with them always caution yourself and, ask these 3 questions....... What will you sell my item for and what is the offer amount for each item that I am considering selling to you. And the third question only, if you are considering selling them designer items. The first two and, will I be banned from the store if I sell you a designer item and it, doesn't fly off the self and have to be marked down? Always asked about the sell policy each time you decide to sell to them. It changes every other day just like their employees. HIGH EMPLOYEE TURNOVER. (RED FLAG). I would only recommend that if you have clothes that you just want to donate stop by there first and then head to the donation drop box. But if you are trying to make some fair money off your gently used clothes then keep them. Hope this...
