Yesterday, my friend convinced me to visit Cava for some good food, and I have to admit, I was initially skeptical. It reminded me of Chipotle, but with a healthier twist, and that made me a bit nervous. However, from the moment I took my first bite, I fell in love with the place! The food was absolutely delicious, and I'm already planning to go back, maybe even this week.
Let me tell you, I'm quite picky when it comes to food, but that day, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try new things. I ordered a bowl with white rice, mixed leaves, chicken, and a delightful surprise - some flavorful lamb. The combination was a burst of flavors that left me craving for more.
I couldn't resist trying the sliced pita chips, which were perfectly crunchy and paired well with my bowl. To add a creamy touch, I chose an avocado dish with a taste that I couldn't quite pronounce, but it was heavenly. Topping it off with corn and lettuce brought a refreshing balance to the dish.
But let me tell you, the real star of the experience was the dressing - a Greek sour and bitter dressing that I didn't expect to enjoy, but it was the perfect addition. I even went back for seconds, wishing I had more to enjoy it with.
Now, the name of this fantastic place is Cava, and it's worth every visit. What made the experience even better was the outstanding service by a young and friendly employee named Greg. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. His positive attitude and genuine care for the customers were evident in every interaction. He even came over to our table to check if we needed anything extra and took the time to get to know us on a personal level, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Greg deserves all the praise, and I believe he should be recognized for his outstanding work. He truly made our visit memorable and enjoyable. His smiles and willingness to help showed how much he cares about Cava and its customers. I think he deserves a raise for his dedication and exceptional service.
Cava is a hidden gem among food places, providing healthy and delectable options at an affordable price. The combination of flavors, generous portions, and excellent service, especially by Greg, sets it apart. I highly recommend giving Cava a try; it's a place where you can enjoy a delicious meal while being treated with genuine care and hospitality. I was genuinely impressed and can't wait to go back!
I hope I’m right that his name is Greg. But he’s a young boy with glasses. He told me he’s the customer service person and you could definitely tell because of how warm he is. He had a really big smile and willing to help. He also...
Read moreListen, I’m not the type of person who usually writes reviews in any way - especially being in the service industry, myself - but the service that my friend and I received yesterday is definitely enough to make us not come back.
When we came in (BEFORE lunch rush) there was absolutely no line. Only one party (of two people) in front of us.
With the nature of the type of restaurant this is, you’d think that the line would be moving quickly, but no.
The employee who fixed our bowls was not only completely apathetic and unfriendly, but literally had no idea what he was serving to the customers.
For example: the girl in front of me asked for Tzatziki sauce, and the employee just looked at her and said “I dont know what that is” … this was the case with EVERYTHING on the food counter, to the point where he just kept telling (every customer) “can you just point at what you want”? He did this for EVERY ingredient - down to the different lettuce mixes at the restaurant. He knew none of it.
I COMPLETELY understand if this is new material to learn, or if it’s someone’s first day on the job - but the apathetic nature of every employee yesterday - especially with it being a weekend - was beyond lackluster.
The employee fixing bowls repeatedly kept asking the cashier “hey, is this [tzaziki sauce]?, and rather than just answering “yes/no”, the cashier took the opportunity to flirt with him: “Nooo what do YOU like to eat? What’s it called? Yessss that’s what they’re asking for”
In the time we stepped into Cava, my friend and I waited at the empty line for 10 minutes without being waited on, or spoken to by any employees.
All the while, going through the line, ONLY the employee who didn’t know the ingredients was working on the line, while other employees walked around aimlessly, and would occasionally mess with the ingredients behind the counter. All the while, other employees are walking around, not addressing customers and not helping move the line along.
It took us each 10 minutes to get through the line with how slowly it was moving, and we ended up sitting down almost a full 30 minutes after we arrived.
The counters where drinks/silverware were, were filthy.
Definitely not coming back to...
Read more‼️DESPERATE NEED OF A NEW MANAGER WHO HAS ACTUALLY HEARD OF THE WORD CUSTOMER SERVICE‼️ This was my first time trying cava and after today's experience I will not be going back to this location. I had the worst customer service I have by far ever had. To start with not one of the 3 guys that were working on the line were friendly whatsoever. But that’s not even the part I’m mad about. When I payed and got my receipt I noticed I had an added charge of $2 for hot chicken (which I didn’t order) I had got regular chicken. When I informed the man working the register and asked for a $2 refund he told me he didn’t have a way to refund it unless it was over $5. When I agin told him that I wanted my $2 back he went and got the manager and she’s where the real issue came in. Instead of trying the make the situation better there was no apology or even an acknowledgement of us. Instead she went to the worker that made my bowl and asked him if I had asked for hot or regular chicken and he told her I had asked for regular. The whole thing was extremely disrespectful if I’m already paying $13 dollars for a bowl why would I try to cheat them out of $2 freaking dollars. When my husband told the manager that it wasn’t our fault and that they were the ones that got it wrong and that she didn’t have to disrespect us by thinking we were lying and going as far as asking the worker what type of chicken we ordered she responded to him with “who’s fault was it because it wasn’t ours”. Even though it was clearly there fault because we asked for and got regular chicken but I was charged for hot chicken. So her response made absolutely no sense. Her head is obviously just to big because she’s a manager. So after getting so blatantly disrespected and arguing with us the entire time about it she finally issued us the refund. We still never got an apology just a rude women who obviously lives a miserable life and wants to make others feel the same. The food was good but after seeing the unfriendly staff and then the absolute god awful manager I will not be going back to this location customer service is everything and y’all by far failed. Didn’t get the managers name but I went on 5/19...
