This morning we went to Eagles Point to eat. We initially asked the bartender the price difference in a pint or larger glass of beer. She said “ I don’t know! I don’t know the prices! I already have to remember a lot of stuff!” We told her she should know the prices but she made it clear that was not part of her job. At this point I wanted to leave but the BF said just to ignore her. I ended up getting water because there was no way I was giving her money for beer at this point. A few minutes later another customer asked her basically the same. He wanted to know how regular prices compare to the Cinco de Mayo specials. Again, she said loudly “ why do you people expect me to know this?! “ I was floored by her smart mouth and attitude. We did order a friend dip type of sandwich and as always it was perfect. Took a considerable time to get it, other wise it would have been 5 star for food. We come here every so often and this was the first time we have had such bad attitude and service. She still received a greater than 20% tip because that’s how we roll. However if we would have gotten knowledgeabl, courteous service, we would have ordered more and her tip would have...
Read moreMy husband and I went to check this place out on Sunday. Things have been really rough lately so we decided on a last minute date night for some fun. I didn't know that there was such a strict dress code of "smiling faces only". You see, I was looking a little sad because of recent events with my father so I wasn't all cheery, chipper, or beaming smiles. This alarmed the lady at the restaurant who RUSHED to our table to ask if I was okay and accused my husband of being an abuser. Number one: if he was??? You could have gotten someone KILLED. You don't EVER go storming to a table and OPENLY AND AGGRESSIVELY accuse anyone. If you were seriously concerned, catch the "victim" when their "abuser" is not around. I hope this is a learning moment for your establishment. We left without even getting our order. Never EVER going back. Period. My husband...
Read moreLeaving 2 stars because the food was good. No complaints there. My husband and I went early evening on a Thursday and we could not get service. The most important thing to us when we go out is the service we receive as we tend to be very good tippers. We were never approached by a server, there were tables around us with several men sitting at them and every server focused her attention on those tables. We had to go to the bar to order drinks, and to order food. That was no better than the service we got on the patio. Like I said, I can't knock the food. But if we can't get service there's no point. Supporting our local businesses and taking care of our servers is something we look forward to. We both know the struggles of waiting tables. Sadly we will not be returning to this one. The servers need to step up their game. Too much competition...
