David's Hallmark Shop — Local services in Butler Township

Service has gone downhill, it used to be the main reason I shopped here. Ordered ornaments and tried to pick them up after I received a phone call during their ornament event in July. Waited in line 1/2 hour (1 person in front of me), was told to go to the other register and wait for the other employee. The people behind me in line got there first so I was behind them. Took at least 5 minutes for the other employee to arrive. When I finally got to the register, she asked if the guy behind me could go first since he had fewer items. I walked out, they can stuff their over priced ornaments. I try to shop local for as much as possible, but will end up eventually going on line to buy things I need, because of interactions like this in brick and mortar sales. Businesses are complaining about lack of customers, but they don’t want to provide the service that people want. Why put up with the frustration of employees intentionally doing as little work as possible, going so slow that it takes 1/2 hour to check out, and treat customers terribly when you can go on line and find comparable gifts at much...

If I could give 0 stars I would this is the absolute worst store I have ever been to. The managers are so rude! Especially the store manager and district manager Mary. They have the absolute worst customer service ever! I will never shop at this store again and I will tell everyone I know or see going to this store. My daughter bought a 100.00 Vera Bradley purse here only used it for a half of a day decided she didn’t like it tried to return with her receipt and was told she couldn’t because she didn’t have the tags even though it clearly stated on the receipt that all she needed was a receipt. She later found the tags and was told extremely rudely by the district manager that she still could not return it! There is absolutely no marks on the purse it is still in perfect condition. So if you think you want to buy something from this particular hallmark make sure you want to keep it! It is a huge hassle to return! Best bet DO NOT SHOP HERE. RUDE MANAGERS and WORST...

My grandma loves this store, and it's true she always finds gifts for the family (and herself) while shopping there. I even found something for myself, as I usually do here. The icing on the cake is how the staff are so helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this store for whatever your hallmark shop...
